Beginner

Help pls. I have been through it already but have 2 more quests and the entrance to go down the hall is blocked. How do I unblock it?

darkblood citadel?
there is a spiral stairway up, kill 1 boss and talk with NPC, he can open the barrier... if i remember correctly
