[Guide Contest] Wild pets hunting adventure! [14.0]

Introduction

Hello lovely people of Sarnaut! My name is TomeQ and in this guide I will teach you how to be a great wild pet hunter! Before you start your hunting adventure, first there are few steps that you have to learn. Let's begin!

How to start?

Once you reach level 85 you will get a mail named "Collect them all!" from Tatiana Dubinskaya.

In that mail you will get some lovely message and item called "Rare Pet Exhibit Invitation".

After using the item, you will get a quest called "Collect them all" which will ask you to visit Tatiana Dubinskaya at her's pet exhibition. (She is located in Umoir => Upper City). After handing in the quest, you will get an option to receive "The Life Sensor" and the "Tamer". Both items are placed in boutique section of your bag and if you later decide to delete them or you accidentally throw them away, don't panic, Tatiana will give you new ones!

Before you start catching pets you can check all the wild pets you can find in your Wardrobe tab > Pets > Wild Pets.

Life Sensor

Life sensor is a device that will let you see the pets in the area around you (200 yard radius), after using it you can get two different massages. One is "There's a pet somewhere near!" and the other one is "No pets found". If you find the pet somewhere near, there will be a ! ! ! displayed on the map,which means everyone in the zone can see that mark, and can try to catch that pet. Also, Life sensor is a good use if your tamer is on cooldown and you spotted some wild pets running around while doing something else in the zone, you can use life sensor to mark it for your next tamer cast or for the other people.

Tamer

When it comes to catching pets, Tamer is the most important device we have and need. It's a unique device that helps you tame the most amazing creatures in Sarnaut. After the cast, tamer is on 2 hour cooldown. The important thing is, the cooldown starts when you start using it, not when the cast is done. That's why you have to be careful while casting.

If you successfully caught a wild pet you will get a message "Success! You trapped a pat!" and the captured pet will be placed in your bag => boutique.
If you failed, you will get a message "The pet has escaped."

Tips:

don't move while casting,
make sure the mobs around wild pet don't attack you,
turn PvP flag off,
take care of the distance between you and wild pet,
make sure you don't accidentally cancel the cast yourself,
be careful of other people casting tamer on the same pet as you do (first come first served).

F2P vs P2P

There is not so much difference between F2P and P2P servers, the Tamer cooldown is 2 hours for both servers, the only difference is that F2P can buy the item shop item called "Cooling Device" which will reset the cooldown of the Tamer. You can get more casts if you have reincarnations, that means if your main tamer is on cooldown, you can switch to your reincarnation and try to tame another wild pet, than switch to second reincarnation...

Irene Wild Pets

Some of the Irene wild pets are located on the islands that you can't reach by walking. That means we need special item, luckily Irene is designed to have such an item and it's called "Mask of the Free Bird". You can buy the mask for 3 900 Ecu coins, from the npc. called "Xavier de Pluie". In order to be able to fly, you must have 25 000 reputation with "House de Pluie". You can also use flying mask during the daily quest called "Great Ball: Fairies of Irene".
