Gear combination for tanks

So i'm really behind with gear atm, like at the very start of gearing. Seeing the new scout changes made me want to gear up to eventually tank when 5.02 hits. So I was wondering what combination is better : Profi/Vit or Det/Ten? I also want to leave a small window open in case I want to switch to ranged or get greatness before 5.02. So what would you guys recommend? I'm more inclined towards Profi/Vit

as tank in serious fights you need a lot of tenacity so you dont get wound too fast, because high wound=mission impossible to healer, i think tenacity/ brutality would be better, changing the 2nd stats on tenacity to willpower and deffensive stats on brutality ones to vitality
Fireofdeath -70 - demonologist
Puffypuf - 65 - furball warden
Rensy - 65 - paladin
Akyrra - 70 - psionicist healer
Turquiose - 60 - bard
Springfull - 60 - mage
FoxBee - 31 warden

If you actually get hit (Not sure if scouts gonna receive much damage on 5.0.2), having higher Det is much better than high profi. Having [for example] 40 profi and 60 determination makes your damage output (and threat generation) as tank almost as high as some of the dps. Having 45 profi, 55 deter, 20 brut as well as 45 vit, 24 bloodlust (kinda random but helps a bit in aoe pulls) and 40 tenacity were good enough stats for tanking as a paladin. More profi and less deter as warrior tank because it depends on actually getting hit and with warrior barrier and high deter it was annoying to gain agro at the start of the fight (I was a warrior tank too but switched to paladin for better survival and group support) so you can try aiming for something similar to paladin tanking stats I mentioned above.

And keep in mind that with every crafting profession except alchemy you can make insignias (i think that's the right word for those?) to change a certain stat on any item so you can balance out gear while you upgrade it even. Only requirement to change stat is for it not to mach the name of the item. [for example] Wand of Proficiency: You can change the secondary offensive stat and the defensive stat on this item but the Proficiency stat remains.
