Gibberling Fan-Art Contest - Discussion Thread

Dear collectors, artists, and fans of the cutest race in all of Sarnaut,

We're proud to announce that Prostostore added a Gibberling set to its virtual catalogue for budding Allods collectors.
This set contains three “furry adventurers” and a whole arsenal of cold steel arms, with additional spare parts included!

It will be purchasable at the Prostostore shop for the price of ₽1999 (RUB), which is €40.30 (Euro) excluding delivery, going by current conversion rate.

In addition, you could WIN this set in our fan-art forum event, which ends on the 20th of October.

The task is simple: Create fun fan-art based on the Gibberlings from Prostostore, using any graphic tool you prefer!

Bear in mind that you do not need to copy every specific detail, so long
as we are able to recognize the Prostostore set in your images.

Winners will be rewarded with the following:

1st. An exclusive Gibberling set, 5000 Premium Crystals, 4 Anniversary Platinum Coins.
2nd. 3000 Premium Crystals, 3 Anniversary Platinum Coins, 5 Anniversary Gold Coins.
3rd. 2000 Premium Crystals, 3 Anniversary Platinum Coins.

We love seeing the community demonstrate its artistic prowess and have always appreciated your screenshots, drawings, and comic-book submissions during previous contests!

You can read this in the rule :

I'm not sure about the difference between "drawing" or "design", but i hope that "any graphic tool" can answer your question ?

In our FR explanation, they say "an illustration" (not a photomontage or cartoon for exemple). So a drawing (manually/scanned or directly on a computer) seems to be what is expected ?

Hi!

I've just a doubt about the "artistic media": are traditional and digital media both allowed (or even mixed) as usually? I mean, I can draw my fanart with pencils and paper and/or with a computer program as well (paint, photoshop, gimp, SAI or others)?
One more thing: do all the 3 Gibberlings have to be present in the fanart? Or only one or two? And is it possible to add other gibberlings beyond them or do they have to be alone?

Hi Tamora,
The original plan was that people would draw the Gibberlings, though due to the confusion it's acceptable to copy them into some art (but this is a lot less effort than doing your own). As long as the Gibberlings from the Store (one, two, or all three - whatever you prefer) are clearly visible, it's acceptable - So go nuts!
