I am interested in story bout stashed amals and amals concentrate when new patch comes out, will they become cinnabar like last time or will remain amals and concentrate ?

I think that cinabar will be remove from game because glyphs are not upgradable anymore with 6.0, so amalgams will be remove too or changed in something else?

From what I heard they will change to Faded Amalgam, that can only be used on old (level 60) items.

Perhaps if you keep amalgalm grains instead of using them to create amalgalm you will be able to stock pile enough to last a few weeks of the new patch

When the patch comes, all existing Amalgam,Realgar,Amalgam Grains and Realgar grains will be transformed into Faded versions of them. This happened when patch 5.0 came as well.
You can use Faded reagents(Amalgam/Realgar) only with equipment of lvl 60. For example, if you needed 3 more upgrades on a piece of gear to get it to fabled, but didn't have enough gold before the patch but had enough reagents and gear upgraders, you can still upgrade it after the patch, with the faded reagents
