Warden as Healer?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

as you can read in the thread-title, I was wondering the last few days, how good wardens really are at healing.
After the revision of the warden one year ago, I heard from many sides, that he was just overpowered - as all new reworks of classes are at the beginning :S - but now, as I paused playing the game over a year, I'd really like to know, how the warden-heal is today.
He surely got some huge nerfs, didn't he? :P

I'm asking, 'cause I'm thinking about change my class to warden. And as I prefer being the heal of the group, I'm really interested on how he is played today - with all (dis)advantages he has got.
I read some threads here in the forum, but couldn't find any detailed information about the warden-heal, so I'm just asking myself. ^^

How is he played in PvE/PvP and what are (dis)advantages compared to the other two heal-classes (Healer/Summoner)?

Does he heal good and can replace a plate-heal (the class I'm playing at the moment)?
What's the importance of the pet, if you're playing as healer (is it important for any rotation; can tank a bit and holds mobs away from you; or deals just some decent damage ?( )?
Is he just heal-based (because - as far as I know - he just has got 4 heals, in which one of them is the AoE-heal) or can either get some damage/cc-skills to support the group (or even an aura maybe)?
What's the race-skill for pridens, how does it work and is it in any way helpful for the warden-heal?

Furthermore, as I get my title, I'd also need a DPS-spec. I've already read, that the meele-DPS is better than the cast-DPS after the nerfs of 6.0 recently. So I'd make me a meele-spec, I think. :whistling:

I read, that a maze is the better choice of weapon than the spear.
But are fistweapons okay either ('cause, personally, I think they're the coolest weapontype of the game  )?

It would be also nice, if someone could explain me the most important talents and rubies I should get in my heal-spec (maybe some builds via PN wouldn't be bad for an overview) and how they works for what. I read all PMBs I could and - in my eyes - they just contain roughly information about the warden as heal.
:(
I'd be happy, if some experienced wardens could answer my questions in detail.
Thank you in advance. :)

iam super tired right now so just some basic informations :D

yes warden can still heal just fine^^ in pve meaning astral and raids you wont have much of a problem to match up with a summy or cleric

but now we come to pvp... i see a serious problem there cuz of the mechanic of the warden heal :/ its strong yeah but you need to "reload" like a gun and thats where the problem lies cuz cleric and summy get new heals with time without doing anything (getting blood for reha as summy or getting fanatism for holy healing as cleric) as a warden you dont get anything passive thats why when they cc and focus you you are toast^^ not saying its entirely impossible cuz i already did it...but its pitful compared to a cleric or summy nowdays...

to the matter with your pet well you can and probably will send it on the enemy but its not really that important exept you want to use shred to gain static charge faster to reload instantly

wow so tired... more information is not avaiable 3 am ;D
