New Frontier Mammoths on Ferris

Mammoths on Ferris

How are you supposed to kill the mammoths on Ferris?
As a level 63 player with a quest to solo-kill these mammoths (quests states that it's meant to be a solo quest) ... how do you do it?
I've been trying to rush there past the lvl 65's but once I do finally reach it I get swarmed by 10 level 65 mammoths which I simply can't kill.

reach level 65, get ferris reputation gear (blue) and pick them one by one (cautious, they alert nearby other mobs)
if a mob catches you either run away (or if this is not possible) kill it

its timeconsuming and not worth the effort doing, i skipped this quest on all reincarnations

It's worth the effort for sure if you're level 63, every bit of exp counts and this grants access to lots of quests.

Just ask someone for help.

considering you have / try to get blue ferris repgear level does not matter since chars strenght does no longer come from level anyway; and while doing the rep. quests for repgear usually you reach level 65

If you enter this Area you can try to get to the Mammoths on the right side. Where the Path to Dragonbay is. On this way avoid the Mobs and collect the blue Bubbles which give you useful buffs. If you got all Buffs it is easy to kill the Mammoths.
