I am getting so frustrated with the way this game has been acting ever since the transfer. I mostly use mage characters and, I dunno about you, but I hate having quest rewards that give me an option of 3 different spears -- I'm a mage not a fighter. Or 3 different shields. Wtf happened to the mage staffs and cool off-hand quest rewards? I seriously think the game owners lost rights to the original artists or something. Why else would they throw away perfectly good art? I guess I stand alone. I have one more reason this new "vanity only" as a way to look like a cool looking character rule is lame. Before, you could sometimes choose between the look of different parts of your armor, boots, gloves belt, pants (unless you had a robe). Now you're only really meant to wear vanity which makes all of those decisions for you. Everyone already looked mostly the same, but now we look even more like stupid clones of each other. Will that ever come back to the shops? The skins for it were so pretty, but I hadn't had a chance to buy one yet. ;.;
I understand. I'm just saying that I found incentive and love for this game through the little rewards we got along the way. Now it just feels like empty grinding and there are less things to look forward to. I can't be the only one frustrated by this. Without incentive and love for the game, I have no reason to spend money on it. So they lose out.
I felt like making a new topic even though there's one related to it. I cannot for the life of me understand why the people who run this game would get rid of perfectly good, artistically crafted gear. I used to look forward to completing quests and getting rewards. Now completing quests feels boring and pointless. Even if you get a new armor, it all looks the same. I have the droplets and they don't expire for another day. I've never used them and no matter how I click on them, nothing happens. How do I use the droplets?
I'm incredibly irritated about this change. It means that you can't enjoy the look of your armor unless you spend money or happen to enjoy the vanity items that are bound to your character (so you can't swap with anyone else). A cool element of this game used to be the surprise you would get every once in a while of gear with a new look. Sometimes it would turn out to be really pretty stuff. This is seriously one of the stupidest moves that Allods could possibly have made.

Well, I don't have any paypal money since paypal decided to make online paying a go-to-store indenture. I was kinda hoping for insta-"crystal" results without a big freakin' errand to the store.
I tried yesterday and today to do the top-up thing... I'm going US visa to game currency, no paypal. I'm doing small amounts... $5-$10. Whenever I try, it accepts my credit card information in the slots, I click confirm, I get no confirmation from the website, and it loads a new blank credit card screen. I hope that makes sense. I feel like if this feature is not working, there should be a note about it on the page until it's fixed.
Check to see if you can clear space from your boutique bag, in case it's simply stuck in that temporary space. I just made that mistake with my cat ears. All I had to do was click some other stuff over to my wardrobe, and the ears went up to my normal pack space. At that point, I was able to add them to my wardrobe.
I feel like a major upswing to all this transfer stress should be that items not added to the character's "wardrobe" and yet are considered "bound" should be fair to trade through the mail. I'd be happy (and was hoping) the saved event vanity items I had on useless characters could be swapped over to cared-for characters (which would further free up usernames for those deleting character's with nothing more than soul bound vanity)........ Please consider allowing us to trade over bound items??

Hah! I wonder why they didn't mention *that* in the transfer notes... this is messed up, I had no idea I would have to gamble to lose my name.
