Dude, that is what is considered dead in any other MMO.
People always get excited about new patches and await waves of new and returning players. That always happens but sadly, it has always ended in the same way. Not saying the game is not worth it, just that there is no such thing as a messiah-patch anymore. Or why not make it vs mercs so it can be single player, like most other content on the server...
Sounds exactly like most of my experiences with customer support..."The problem is fixed! Thanks for your patience." and yet when you log on, the problem isn't fixed.
That's how it's always been. People joining the server, expecting everything to be ready and leaving when things wasn't as they expected. Few players have the patience to actually build up something, that's why you see the "core" of the same few players "keeping things going".
Not great, but enough to still enjoy the content. There are three active guild atm on empire side.
Sorry for the slight off-topic, but why do I feel it's "unfair" that some tickets get "fast forwarded" if asked so? Shouldn't they all be treated in the order they are submitted? No wonder it takes forever to get an answer when certain tickets get higher priority...
