Reforged materials

There is a forge item called reforged materials that costs 1600 dust and gets you 250 combat materials to make gear. Does anyone know what level of materials it gives you? For example: in this season would you get epic purple mats or rare blue mats? Thx.

Reforged Materials are used to craft gear with your profession. I think you got that confused?

Thanks. Now I understand. I thought it was a way to convert dust into combat materials to make gear at the forge.
