Catching a Pet

I am trying to catch a pet since 10 days ago. Isn't it possible to catch a pet? I tried more than 100 times. Like I do everytime when cooldown stops. I start to think something is going wrong. Maybe I do something wrong. I use petsearch addon. When I find pet I just go click and use the item which catches pet. But everytime it says pet ran away. What should I do? What is the possibility of catching a pet? What do I do wrong ?

Chance is just really, really low
caught one exactly once - seems i was very lucky

I am sad. It was my dream to catch holy goblin.

Note: I won't give up.

One day I will share my photo with holy goblin...
