for singletarget the "dark leech" rubies in 3rd grid are a good idea (since they reduce cd to 0 and not only for 30%)
but if you do only aoe for some reason or use vampirism not often you wont need that / you will be ok with the long cd too
if you decide to play with determination i would strongly recommend phlebotomy; its also useful in pvp battles (enough blood to spam reanimation etc)
mastersummoner rubies from 1st grid are not really worth in most cases for non-acid builds, the reduced lurker-time is not so much
to profit from the dark-spark rubies use reanimation before using vamp + death howl
i dont know if you will use dragon-tear skills, for example i did not use them at all as long as i did not have a permanent tear
if you plan to use them you must also spec these skills of course
