Problem with chat panel; any help?

Since I've installed this game, I've had this issue where I can't see all of the various chat channels on my screen. I will make a comment in Zone, for example, but not be able to see it. Other people will see it, but not me. At the same time, other people can say things but I won't be able to see them either.

This happens in most channels. Only the Party channel seems to be unaffected by this glitch.

Does anyone know how I can go about fixing this? I've already run the program to check client files to no effect.

try to change the font; "<Aa Bb>" icon, this could help

if this does not help, then:

is the "spamfilter" active? its a small shieldicon with a X on it (chatwindow)

also you cant try to rightclick the chaticon and reset it (all custom chatwindow preferences will be gone then)

This happens to me sometimes when I use punctuation marks in what I'm saying.

The solution, sadly, is just to dumb down your way of talking a bit.

e.g. "Good evening friends. I am ready - let us embark on another invigorating try at that ferocious raid boss!"

Typing this into chat will almost always make it fail to appear. To make it work you need to tone it down to something more like:

"Yo homies im gtg lets make 1 more try cos yolo"

Try to adjust how you write to avoid using punctuation marks wherever you can and you should be ok.
