without testing and by pure feeling to me it seems vigor increases damage more than proficiency, i am very eager for a definite answer here

well for offense i guess the epic one is better but over all the blue one is better cuz it can also increase vitality

but in general just try to get a better cs trinket from ah the epic one should be cheap too

blue CS trinket and epic non CS trinket you linked are cca the same I'd say.

However CS trinkets of better color beat the epic non CS trinket you linked.


ALSO, CS trinket (after you get it once) is available (shared) to ALL your reincarnations to play with from the beginning levels. This part is also important to note and remember.

I just did some calculations because i was bored and quite interested by AOP's question on proficiency vs vigor.

In theory, the +3686 vigor is more powerful than the +150 proficiency.

The gearscore is calculated by P(1+(S/2000) [Thanks Zuri]
Where P is primary stats - vigor and stamina, and S is secondary or special stats.

at full 71 gear you will have approximately 88k gearscore depending on your astral drops.
This gearscore is calculated on the basis of 46,073 primary and roughly 1,840 secondary
we will use these numbers for the example calculations.



Without trinket effect.
46073(1+(1840/2000)) = 88460

With epic non-cs effect.
(46073+3686)(1+(1840/2000)) = 95537

With rare cs effect. [offense only]
46073(1+((1840+150)/2000)) = 91915

With rare cs effect. [off+def]
46073(1+((1840+300)/2000)) = 95371

good idea to point this out; go to goblinbanker NPC and select the appropriate dialog; he then will give you as many of these trinkets as you wish (bound) into your boutique tab
then switch to reinc and just equip it
