Black Ping and Freezing after the 1/2/15 maint?

Has anyone else been having problems connecting to the server after the last maint? I was having no problems or lag at all (all green) before the maint, even in highly populated areas like Novograd when everyone was doing the New Years Event. Now I have red/black ping every time I log on even in areas with few people like Eljune. My progressive download is 100% complete and from my speedtest results my internet connection is running normally. I also have no addons at all. Does anyone know what might have happened?
