there are different mounts with different speed BUT jes rank4 will NOT give 160%

i strongly recommend to buy NOT mounts out of the Boutique!!! these are all obsolete since years

in event atm you get rank6 mounts which give 160% if you are in need but i recommend more strongly that you take a mount without falldamage!

all in all you should wait for an opportunity and spend 3000pcs for battlekelpi imho

you friend should buy a mount on tropical atoll, you can gain it free there. this mount is the full 160%! the griffon even has the griffonleap-skill

You should answer to the question if you know it!

You gave advice in what information have accumulted over the years in game, but maybe you didn't met all circumstances yet.
In our particular case your advice it is wrong. If I tell you why, than you know the case.

The problem with "Frantic Furry's Colar" it is: as I know it receive fall damage. If it wouldn't than it would be very nice for us.

The Grypon it is another idea, but farming in Atol it takes considerable amount of time.
Prophetic cards gives the best "fee mounts" for around 20 euro, but once spent 50 eur on Compass and didn't got any.
Collector eddition would be nice...if it would be an event right now and would have a horse, the last one didn't had...

It is from nowhere, unfortunately game does not gives this informations directly. These are my own clear calculations by my own mounts upon your question.

farming in Atol it takes considerable amount of time

not really, its boring and you have to know what to do but once i farmed two of the slow griffins in less then 4 hours just by swimming and collecting shells. you shouldnt do this coz griffin is very slow.

russians have newer mounts in atol so maybe next year farming shells is better

This updates (New mount, costumes, pets...etc) added to Ru server with 12.0.01.08 (05/26/2021) and we have 12.0.00.51.1 now.
So we may get this Atoll Upgrades in this summer without waiting for next year. I'm not sure but I'm hopeful about that.

PS: New mount, Sailplane is Rank 6 - %160 (16,90 Yards/Sec) Cost is 7000 Shell
PSII: Your current own Shells can not use for buying it. You must farm it again after Atoll update (Like the Amalgams from old Patches)
PSIII: You can still use your current own Shells for buying the items from the old (Our current) patch
