Trial of Blood has to close?

Hi Sarnaut,
Is there a reason why Trial of Blood is still open after the new layer launched?
Usually it closes after a new layer so people wouldn't beat ratings with new gear giving substantial vigor boosts compared to people doing it in the legendary sector in this case.
Was this forgotten?
I assumed it would close as it always does, so did my ratings in legendary gear. Now after fabled came I cannot do it again, but others can do rating with better gear than when I did it.

Hi Dragagon!


it closed earlier every time because monsters in rating battles were not scaling properly when the layers were opened.

Now this problem has been fixed - so no reason to close it earlier.

Ah so, where was this informed that it would no longer close?
it's an important update considering you could get outranked by people doing it with new gear. I suppose you understand the problem I am pointing out?
