Mine were defaulted to being on.BIG MOFOIN' UPDATE EVERYONE.

Go to SETTINGS
and make sure BOTH OF THOSE CHECK BOXES ARE CHECKED.
I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA why they are not default on.

yes because they have to cater to the people who are too lazy to get up and get to a computer just to check their email....It doesn't matter if they are on or not, the conversation you will have with support should be in the ticket itself, not through e-mail.*
