Dual warrior build viable for pve?

Hello guys im back to warrior class after a long time and i got a simple question: is dual wielding viable in terms of end game pve? If yes how far is it fron the 2-hander dps?

had a party with giradan ytd (full lvl 13 war) and his overall dmg was 10% more than mine (my atk runes are 9 8 8)
