they all said 12 keys every week ,so why?

Only way to get 12 is if you miss a week and you get UP TO 4 more keys of the "sureal keys" that you have acquired.

You HAVE to have 4 sureal keys to get 4 back.

Its 8 keys per week, but u can transfer up to 4 keys into the next week if u didnt manage to use them.
That way u will have 12 keys.

Some weeks I get a different number of keys than 8. But that's only on weeks where I'm a flamingo. It's pretty rare.

I think there's need for an official reply here. Since Teppisch is a german mod, I'm the one to make that reply.
You get 8 new astral keys every week, at reset. But if you don't use those keys, they'll transform to surreal keys. Of those surreal keys, you can use 4 each week. That means, you can have a maximum of 12 keys each week to use as you please :D
