2h melee or paired fist?

Making my warden a melee/pet warden but im not sure if i want to use 2h maces/2h spears or paired fist weapons.

Which one has faster/more stable DPS?

2 handed mace.
combo strikes has a high cooldown and 2handed weapons have more dmg.

While 2h mace does more spike dmg, 2h spear is on same level dps as well.
But imo go with 2 spear Especially if you are going for melee build focusing on Hawk's Strike, then you will get more dps out of it than with mace since half of dmg will be lightning, and with shorter cooldown you can dish out more damage that way.
