Collector's Edition - Wings of War

So, the price for the collector edition is listed as 44.99 EUR. I bought it, and chose USD as my currency and PayPal as my source. I was charged 44.99 USD. So, uh. Cool? Bug?

I suppose it depends on which country do you select initially for payment. If you've chosen an European country, it should list EUR as currency.
However, using VPN or anything like that to circumvent paying in euros in Europe (or at least EU) means tax fraud from what I know. I guess that's something worth to keep in mind.

paying in another currency is not taxfraud, lol
but if you are scared use an anonymous paymentmethod, then nothing can happen

It's not so much that, but more the currency conversion since 1 EUR = 1.13 USD approximately. So if it was actually 44.99 EUR it should have been about 50.73 USD.

Honestly? I'm worried they'll deny me the Collectors Edition because I didn't pay "enough" for it. It's the only reason I mentioned it.

I have a question, i bought this evening the AO Collector's Edition( 44,99one), i know it will be activated with the update 7.0 but it is normal that i dont see it? I dont have in my bag, maybe is a noob question but money spent is not noob^^

You should receive it in your in mail game as soon as you log your account in the 7.0... at least is what i have heard XD

i was wondering the same and the only thing that i've found that show us that we did buy it is that the "buy it" button isn't available anymore when you look at the collector description; so nothing to worry about imo ;)

I do find it incredibly strange and unprofessional that I did not receive a receipt for my purchase...
Like really?

Unless I'm buying something off craigslist...I'd like a dang receipt.

to see if your purchase is confirmed, just go on the tab of the collector's items with your account logged, the option to buy is off is because you already have the package.

Just bought the collectors edition for 44.99 euro now. No receipt not even an order confirmation from My.com which surprised me a little as mentioned by Groot it's really unprofessional from a business point of view. The only thing I have to prove my order is a paypal receipt and the buy button on the collectors purchase page is gone.

I know what you mean, i would like some kind of notification in game that it will arrive after patch.

But a paypal receipt is all you will need if something does go wrong... unless your the guys who made this thread and then you will be questioned about that payment xd
