Just some abstract thoughts - question about payment

theoretically, if you would decide to buy a large amount of BC with $ (paysafecard), would there be any limits?
like, when you decide to buy full level 13 runes its ~ 10.000$, biggest PSC size is 100$, so could you buy 100 PSC @100$ and then just redeem them? would the BC instantly be available?
is PSC the only completely anonymous payment method supported by this game?

i dont plan to do this but i like to play with my thoughts and would like to get my facts straight :)

I haven't tried it recently, but there was a limit to the maximum transaction size. This was allegedly to combat fraud. I have to assume the same would hold true for any payment method.

i guess the limit is only active for 1st time creditcard-purchases...?

but as there is no option to do fraudent transactions with prepaid-cards like paysafe, logically there should be NO limit in this case...?

i imagine this like:

player goes to paysafe-selling shop
player buy x paysafe cards
player opens paymentsite of allods and enters pincode of bought paysafecard

now, 2 options are possible:
1 - player can buy as many BC as he wish
2 - player gets some errormessage after buying a certain amount of BC (i know some games limit their players maximum payment, this is why i ask)

also, is there any noticeable delay when using paysafecard? or is this almost instant?

It wasn't a limit on only the first purchase. gPotato had monthly transaction limits per account to limit the ability to use stolen cards/info. I would assume PaySafe cards would be the same, but I have no direct experience with them. I'm not sure if my.com has lifted it, but at one point there was a max single transaction size of BC I believe.

Hey there,

Limits do still exist, but their values could be changed by anti-fraud department at any time. We can't/won't/don't disclose any specific information on the subject as doing so could provide unintentional benefit to fraudsters looking to bypass such measures.

In the event a limit IS met by an individual, the person in question can quite easily make a ticket in order to discuss the matter with billing.

Mhul

So hypothetically, if i wanted to break my bank and buy full 13 runes tomorrow, it would not be possible without contacting support and making special arrangements.

I haven't, and don't know if anyone that has hit that limit since my.com took over. That being said, I'm certain the amount of BC needed to outright buy full 13s would trigger it.

update,
support answered:

Citation

Was die Paysafecard Zahlungsmethode angeht, sind die Beschränkungen nur von der Seite Paysafecard eingeführt.

means in english "regarding paysafecard-payment, the limits are only from the side of paysafecard"

so it seems my.com's anti-fraud department has only limits for paymentoptions where the customer can pull back his payment but not on the paymentoption where the customer cant pull back anyway
thats logical and good

so next question goes to paysafecard-company about their limits
if they have no limits too (or only some which can be easily bypassed) there is nothing standing in the way of someone who wants to get full level 13 runes

i will update this once again when i have an answer from paysafe 8o
