Marks of Fate ftw !

Big ups for the instant quest finishing system that uses Marks of Fate.
If You didn't know, whenever You gain exp You gain equal amount of marks of fate. You can see how much You have by pointing mouse cursor over Your exp bar. Some quests (marked) can be completed instantly without doing anything just by going to quest log, selecting apropriate quest and clikikg option to finish it here and now :) i like it very much ^^ there is soooo much annoying quests that it's a blessing for me.

Yet... does anyone knows, can I use those Marks of Fate for anything else after i reach 60lv ? I ended up with like 2 mln of them and i don't know what to do with them >.>

Had no idea what they were until a thread was posted, and I hit 56. started from 55, and tooltip said they can no longer be used after. 59 would have been nice.

It's just irritating that the ones that you really want to spend them on, you can't =(

Fingers crossed that Wish Granter (or the kobold grinding quest) can be skipped.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

i used that system only four times. still quests done at 85% of lvl58.
my point is if u use those marks for the farming quests its gonna be painful to reach lvl60 without quest at the end..:(

Using marks of fate is more rewarding exp-wise than actually doing the quest. Finishing quests with marks of fate gives a nice chunk of exp unless you're 5 or more levels above the quest's level. The exp you get from doing this is more than the exp you would get for killing all mobs for the quest for example.

You'd get the experience regardless.

But you miss out on the kill experience, which on th really grindy quests is quite significant.

It is significant... but if you won't count mobs killed on the way to quest area and mobs you kill just because they got in range but are not required for quest - it will be less exp than you get from marks. Tested on many quests.

Just finishing a quest with marks of fate gives you experience, then on top of that you get the exp reward from turning it in. The experience you get from the marks is always more than the exp you'd get from killing mobs.

Quest:

There's Bear-ly Any Fat Left.

Mob xp - 30/64 xp per kill. Average: 47
Drop rate: 50% (not very rigorously tested, but not 100%)
12 drops required.

Total xp for kills: 1128
XP provided for Mark of Fate use: 815.

So... not so great.

Fast yes, at the cost of XP if there's combat involved.

I'd not recommend using them for any combat quest.

great idea, poorly implemented. if you use marks of fate or the cash shop item (which is absurdly expensive and doesnt scale) you lose a shit ton of xp from mobs that you should of killed, and end up short xp for your next level, more short then you usually are.

o well, i guess you do save some time on certain quest, but it could of been done better.

It's great for non-combat fetch quests, as it effectively provides a 10% of the required marks as extra experience.

Well, I use it for killing quests too, but in this way:

Quest: kill 10 mobs

I go kill 9 mobs and use Marks of fate to complete quest instead of killing the last mob.

That way you only gain extra exp, no loss at all :)

quick question, what if you used the bonus xp scrolls in the item shop too? would you still be short on xp if you only leveled using marks of fate and those scrolls? I have a lot of premium crystals and would definilty use them to level my character up to 55 instantly if i can

As far as I know, that won't change anything, you still get the same amount of xp, I think. But if anyone knows different, please say so :D
