1H sword + shield dps

Hey, i was wondering if shield is only for tanks and healers? or is it possible to build dps with 1h, cuz i have noticed all the "increase damage with 1h" rubys

i really like 1h n shield alot more than 2h

3 classes can use that combination...be more specific.
Since you talked about rubys increasing damage with 1H i guess its either Warrior or Paladin.And both of them with 1H+shield will never have DPS compared to what does classes can do with a 2H.Holy paladin can have nice dps in some situations.

Caster healer can have great dps with 1h+shield

as warrior you can make a "1hand / shield dps build" for sure but it will always be inferior to a 2handed dps build
its more for messing around / fun than for "serious" playing, 1hand / shield is generally only for tank-players useful

If u just dont like 2h (if its a warrior) u can try duals, im not sure but it should do same dps just ure keyboard is dying faster.

the problem with duals is that the "huge dmg" & "onetime" skills like crushing blow, charge and arcing blow do much less dmg, but their cd stays the same :(
so in summary for DPS only 2hand axe or 2hand mace can reach max. efficiency

ever heard of Jagged slice???? ofc playing a 2h build with duals equiped would be stupid...

how does jagged slice affect dps of crushing blow, charge and arcing blow?

it doesnt affect crushing blow or anything else...
