Engineer is finally fixed...

...and its great fun to play it!

I really like the new abilities, but the best by far is the "cannonade" which solves the energyproblem this class had
the "fraggrenade" that always hits now along with its "projectiles" is also great

another GREAT new thing is that combatmode now finally has an acceptable cd, its 1min 4 sec with rubies

not to forget engineer finally have some sort of second life; "emergency suitcase"...

the only thing i noticed is that flying pad is kinda very slow now... but i rather have a slow pad than the problems this class had before :P
(and i just noticed that flying pad can be made faster by better dragontears, so it is possible)

so THANKS for fixing this class :love:

with a 12 second use....makes it kind of redundant imo.

the 12 sec are really low
in pvp however combatmode was never longer up than this anyway in most cases

yea who would want a barrier,not able to be displaced and a 150k dot for 7 seconds every 1 minute...lol

This information is somewhat misleading, given the ruby requirements to drop the cooldown from 2min to 1min, the short duration of the DoT, and the fact it likely won't be 150k/s. Regardless, Combat Mode IS a decent PvP skill if just for the barrier, but it's also a liability given you're forced to sit in place for the entire duration. If they really wanted to make the skill viable for all purposes, it would have been better to leave the cooldown to 2min with rubies, halve the original duration, and grant ~75% movespeed along with all the buffs the howitzer gives to volleys now.
