About me

  • Hello there! I'm Victoria Davis, but you can call me Vicky - the cheerful and vivacious sports physiotherapist who has seen more sprained ankles and pulled muscles than you can shake a stick at!
Once upon a time, in my teen years, I was a promising basketball player. But then a major knee injury benched me for good. It was then I fell in love with the other side of sports - not the part where you dunk the ball or make the crowd cheer, but where you help the injured rise again, literally!
Nowadays, I spend my days trying to decode the secret language of the human body. You see, each wince, each 'ouch' a player makes, tells a story. As a sports physiotherapist, my job is to listen and help the body tell that story better.
I've traveled with teams across the country, and trust me, being on a bus with a dozen sweaty athletes after a game is no walk in the park! But that's all part of the job I love. It's the smile on an athlete's face when they get back on their feet after an injury that makes it all worthwhile.
I'm known as the "cheerleader" of the medical team. And no, I don't carry pom-poms. But I do bring a good dose of humor and positivity to the table, especially when an athlete is feeling down about an injury.
So, if you're looking for a sports physiotherapist who can not only tend to your sprains and strains but also tell you a good joke while doing it, then I'm your gal. After all, laughter is the best medicine, right?
