2-3 hours later than it is now? LOL ?! where is that good for european players?^^ atm its 20-22 whats barely! ok cause most people will work in the morning (i for example at 4)

so 3 hours later it would be 23-1 ;D you will loose more than 60% of the european playerbase in dominion with this

BUT i agree that the time is a problem.. but its quite easy right? just do a 2 domi time and its ok

so 1 time 20:00 in EU AND 1 time 20:00 in NA (ofc you can just do 4 fights not that someone will fight in both times^^) and the accumulatet points are added... Tada easy^^

22

wcf.global.timeFormatLocalized

Better only 60% of EU player be able to come then the only 10% of NA players that can currently come.

Number don't lie and the 90% of NA players are more then 40% EU players.

well don't look at percentages :p
look at numbers the odds are 60% of EU is more than 90% of NA

But i do agree with this though there should really be an opportunity for NA players to do domi

something like max 24 fights (6 parties 4 fights or any other way) would be a nice way to divide hours without giving ppl an extra chance to go 4 more fights

24

wcf.global.timeFormatLocalized

40% of EU is not greater then 90% of NA.

Especially when you take into account money spent on this game.

And no 2 different dom times wouldn't work since points received are measured on the points of the guild that was beaten.

In the end it comes down to the fact that EU can afford an hour or two less sleep, while NA can't skip work/school period.

You really overestimate yourself, my american friend.

There is a reason the old NA server was dying and it was nothing to do with game play.

Stop throwing money into the game to try and fix it. Life doesn't work that way; why should it with a game?

It was a silly idea to merge servers with so different timezones.

I was always saying how it will never happen because exactly this problem arises. And now I'm all like wtf it happened and the NA players are mad.

They should have taken over publishing of Brazilian version and merge NA servers with those, not with EU.
What are u talking about?? they will fix problems with that, but it cant be wrong and silly that they merge it with eu...cant be silly to merge 2 low populated servers of same lang. ppl
second-brazilians dont speak english..(mostly)..so that would be even bigger issue...

27

EU server had at most 20-30% more players then NA at the time of the merge.

And you and others continued insistence that NA shouldn't be accommodated at all reeks of a fear that NA's players would kick your assess.

I don't know where you get that I think you should not be accommodated.

I've already given an idea to fix this issue and I'm a big advocate of integrating our american friends into this game (later AoD times, MI AS etc.)

But, what I don't like is this self entitlement attitude that just because you paid 'x' amount or played 'x' amount that this game owes you something. It owes you nothing.

Let them fix the big problems first. They are literally dealing with a plate of shit after taking this game from webzen. It will take months to sort out the mess they were given. You're just going to have to be patient (just like the rest of us).

Cheers!

I love ppl who think the world is spinning around them, and specially those who solve problems by spending more money rather then thinking a bit and then saying the world owes them respect.

First of all, merge was done so that ppl from NA severe still have a chance to play. And as far as I know NA was added to EU sever, therefore why should we suffer from changing the time according to NA players will?

As Xaraman already said, they have now lots of things to do, Imo. the bugs/crashes/lost accounts have priority over time adjustments.
Ofc. It's important that, since we have such huge and varied population, all players should be able to participate in those in-game events. It's obvious there has to be a consensus reached, but moving the events 2h later just bcz one third of the sever can't make it on time, wont solve anything.

Then again, moving all times 2 hours forward and another one third can't make it in time for the events because of schedules and stuff.

Because 1/3 of the server has something physically keeping them from going to be sleep late.

You're are overestimating again, truthfully I would say around 10% couldn't stay up those extra 2 hours for dom. While the numbers from NA that can't come are much much higher.

Even if you use actual number and not percentages.

Yeah, it's the same thing that keeps you from making it early on Wednesday. Work/school/family etc.

Changing the times will not work. However, as i said earlier in this thread, maybe a scheduling system for the wednesday fight might work.

Every defending guild has the option to select the time they want to fight. Either 8pm London time or 8pm New York time. Now, it's not perfect and it will mean NA guilds will invariably fight NA guilds and vice versa with the EU guilds. It would also mean that the top guilds could probably game this a little so they are always sending their best raid. But at least you NA guys get a chance to defend your grains.

I've also said about extending AoD and getting it to spawn 2 more times a day (6pm and 8pm New York time).

These ideas may work. Changing times won't. But, as has been said, let them fix the big problems first. Lets get the game stable and then we can discuss this with Wraith. He seems like a decent guy who will bat for all of us when requesting these things from mail.ru. Just give him a chance to get his house in order.

Cheers!

GM's said otherwise, but I look forward to EU tears when they find out how hard the mobs really are on the new server.

in the MoS 77 waves topic?

so, did you look forward? and what did you see?

Are you really going to be that pedantic that I have to spell it out to you and make you look like a muppet?

90% of the EU gets up to go to work/school at 6-7am. They are not going to wreck themselves by staying up late for a game.

:) Since they never changed our times last patch, a lot of NA players were up until 1am doing dom because well...they didn't listen to us when we said we needed a time change on Dominion.

Well hopefully with my.com they will listen to us and try to change things for the better of all players.

As I said earlier though, it could take a few months to sort out the mess they were left with.

ok. Love your attitude about the game. Very Positive!!! But the only people that have to be patient and wait are the NA population, cause mail.ru is still catering to EU needs <fact: everything that doesnt work out for NA is perfect for EU>

The fact still remains that NA IS out of luck with dom and raid times that should have been thought about before the merge took place. Its called having a game plan. Most businesses don't dive in head first and take the chance to loose everything they worked hard to keep. They take their time and do things right. SO far, mail.ru AND webzen are on the same page in my book. Neither of them thought anything through before they did anything!!!!

2 different times per day for Dom, ANomSec, MeltIsle, etc... should do the trick. I dont believe in ANYONE suffering for someone elses mistakes. Like I said before... IF those who are in charge have enough sense among them, they will see the error of their ways and fix it for Both parties Involved.

The only way two different dom times would work is if you changed the entire way Dom was scored.

Each win would have to be worth the same number of points no matter the score of the person you beat. Anything else would give an unfair points advantage to the time zone that went first.
