Glitched turret?

I'll be questing or grinding and then my turret pulls 2 or 3 mobs & then i have to deal with them or else i'll die, and im a reincarnation too. Just a while ago i was doing that level 33 grind, my turret pulls 2 dudes & i try to run away but they keep stunning me. Then i die, so now its like i never turned on my computer to grind 5 bars, wtf -_- And most of the time it attacks the mob i'm attacking but sometimes it will pull another. So is this normal or a bug? It's very annoying :cursing:

the turret attackes more or less the nearest mob for him.
so if you attacking one, setting up the turret some steps aside, other mobs are nearer to it, so it attacks a different mob than you.

You can skill a ruby skill to define the target for a turret (called target), so this wont happen anymore.
It's in the third ruby grind near left down corner around, the red/white target sign.

First call turret, and then you have about 1-1.5s so name a target with that skill, else it will pick one by itselt with the first shot.

Nonsense

The turret as well as other devices except the Steel Mosquitos, attack the closest mob OR the one you have the aggro from and/or are engaged in combat with.

after reading the posts on the forums I tried to reproduce the same results some players were having and was unable to do so. As far as I can tell, the devices operate as intended and any issues that appear are minor glitches but possibly and mostly human error.

I believe that what happens though is players will place the turret where it's presence will draw the aggro before it even has a chance to fire a shot off. This can make it seem the turret isn't working as intended because it will immediately attack the mob attacking it before it switches to your current mob. As far as pulling multiple mobs, well, we all do that. If they're close you'll most likely get the entire pack of mobs.

I'm sure they'll be making future enhancements to not only the engineer but other classes as well. Just give it some time. Things may change, if not, at least you'll be more experienced and have a better hang of things on the working of the class.

Good luck! :D

I'm merely a low-level noob but I've grown to love the Light Turrent. This bad boy does work son! The key to using it properly is understanding it's range as well as being conscience of the enviroment you are, as well as mob placement.

The turrent will always attack the closest enemy and will continue until all 12 of its shots are used or it is destroyed, however, if you already have aggro from a mob and then you summon, it will attack that mob.

Once you get the hang of how the turrent operates it is indispensable and puts out some serious Dps(especially when it's all rubied up).
