Does launcher downloads 1 GB or 6 gb (full game) ?

"Wait for the game client to download and install (1 Gb) You may start the game right after the client is installed. You don't have to wait for the update to complete downloading. Files of medium or low priority and textures of high resolution will be downloaded, while you play the game"

The initial download is ~1GB. It allows you to get in the game and do everything. The other ~6GB will be downloaded as you play - the game will download content as it is needed, or will just keep downloading while you're afk somewhere. Or the launcher will download them while the game is not running.

download the installer via this website, once open look underneath the pause button for the option to link your current version to the installer.

now you will only download the update. simples :)

There is 2 choices to install this new client.
You choose a new folder to install OR you pause the download, and with the option button, you choose your old folder with the old client.
Then the new launcher will download half of total new client. It's équivalent to patching :).

Old launcher won't work anymore i think. We'll see when servers will be online.

i waited, it patched 1,1gb or so and after that it just started at 2,6gb / 7,6gb so even waiting there is a chance the game will just have to totally download itself all over again, but then again this game with expansions has never been smooth it was to be expected.. xD
