Transfering my old characters

So I created a my.com account and submitted a ticket to transfer my Gpotato USA account. However I read a message on the forums that says I shouldn't log into the my.com account or it would flag it "in use" which would render it unusable for transferring the gpotato account. Is this true and if so what are my options? ;(

I imagine you would not be able to, Allods changed publishers I think. They moved from gpotato to mail.ru

That was an issue at the very begining of transferring accounts (a year ago).
I'm not sure there's still a problem login in with your my.com account.
But, keep in mind that every new character you'll create before you get your old characters back, will be deleted.

The best option to have a look at the game while waiting for your account to be transferred, is to create another my.com account, and create new characters on this one.

Thank you! I'm glad to be back and I haven't created any new characters. I just logged into the character creating screen thingy.
