Wasn't lucky, didn't get the mount nor could I ever afford it in-game gold. So could someone post the skins of the mount shown in the stable view and give the skill + speed etc info? I'd like to add the mount to my website. Congrats to all lucky ones.

i could post the skills to but i guess you rather like an english description and my client is in german

direct buy is cheaper as always

except you are lucky like the mentioned guys who got it in 2 boxes

i wanted to buy it directly, but it wasn't less than 25k bc, i couldn't aford it so i tried strongboxes. I didn't expected to get it at the 2nd strongboxe but i consider that with 419 opening i'm in the unlucky part of the players...

actually you may even be the unluckiest, poor guy

563 boxes opened, 3 mounts total. There are people selling for 25k. The 30k sellers are being a little unrealistic at the moment since most offers are coming in at 15-18k.

keep them a while and sell for 35k later

i finaly have my precious mount, and i hate myself for having cs again x_x, if i would have wait a few more hours i could have aford it without cs'ing again. i waited for 4 mounth and the very few lasts hours to wait got me *FACEPALM*!!!!!!!!

mounting in yaskers tower is statisfying too

i didn't bought any other strongboxes after my "419 opening for nothing" (was the very first AND very last time i try to get something by opening strongboxes, next time i'll try not to give a shit to these very lucky guys that made me think i had a chance... ).
i bought it directly for 20k BC. If i would have wait just a a few more hours i could have bought it with the 20K BC i already had instead of wasting them into strongboxes; to sum it up, i paid for this mount 2x the needed price and this lowered a lot the pleasure i had when i got it; instead of being happy as hell, i was just like "yeah i love this mount... but omg why did i have to waste so much money!!!!!

Yeah, if you have 6 million gold laying around... Seriously, AH prices have become increasingly ridiculous since the server merges.

....and if someone opens over 400 boxes and doesn't get the mount, than this is simply means that the people who come up with these kinds of sales are even more ridiculous. I opened up 20 boxes and got pretty much nothing, so i quit spending cash on this trash.

I love this game, but damn people... There's better stuff in the real world to spend your money on.

its more like 4,3 million... and since it was looooong time foreseen this sale will come (we had really to wait long enough) its not hard to save up just with gold icnoming from all the activities in game... after getting the mount there is plenty of time to catch up in gear, especially now where next level timevoid will be available
i see SO many lightning-mounts, it feels like it was a free additional prize like the wyvern in the perfection-strongbox

ofc ppl try to sell for ridiculous prices in AH, thats bcause there are ppl who actually pay for these prices

look at the worldshouts "buy lightning 19k, sell 24k"
that how business works, make profit out of nothing but transactions

there is also a case where a lightning has been sold for like 580.000 gold in AH, but someone else was faster than me pressing "buy"; i guess the seller forgot to press one more "0"

totally agree here, thats the same POV i have
...but i have learned there are ppl who give away their $ in RL too for things that are of questionable value.... (cinema, smoking, alcohol, etc...) so it simply does not matter for some of them...
personally, i love them, they run the game free for those who never donate

im aware for some ppl its worth, because they actually enjoy these things
but aside from the aspect of joy there is still the question: how much $ is is worth to feel joy? are these things good for you? can you get them for free?

(e.g. for someone with a spartanic lifestlye, money is only for basic things etc, he wont ever gain pleasure by such things as he sees it as a waste, on the opposite those who enjoy vertain things will see the spartanic lifesytle as a waste of life )

anyway, everyone must answer this for himself, since everyone feels different its not possible to give a general aswer here

spend money only on permanent things if possbile and buy consumables only if not possible to do otherwise (food etc)

what isee as reason for living isFAR away from "work/consuming/throw away" circle, i rather would say its reason is to be a good, loving person, care for those who you love, collect knowledge, etc
money is only the necessary "fuel" for running things in the somehow perverted way of life we have in western countries

but to answer your question, if you need only a small amount of money for living, you also have usually more time (due to less working!) for the things in life that really matter like spending time with family / friends / yourself / hobbies (allods! )
so having a moneyconservative lifestyle usually favors your free time

so lets say rather work only half the day and have less money than work full time and have less time
or directed at allods; i rather play many hours a day with slower gaining of gold than only playing a few but having full cs
ofc, "farming in RL" is more effective than playing, but i want t play anyway and im not in a hurry, also playing allods is usually much more pleasent than doing rl work
those who are lucky / smart gain their money in RL too from things they like doing, but i see / now so many ppl going to work and beeing unhappy about it...


time > money, in every aspect, at least for me
(also if you have enough money at some point you dont need to work any longer at all anyway, i could go further into detail about this topic, but this would go too far and offtopic )


money isn't everything, but it helps
you cant buy happyness with it but you can buy things that make you happy
