Why did you change bg mechanics?

Hi,

I'm a bit shocked by the fact that P2P needs 24 players now to sign bg to actully make it pop :cursing: , before it used to be only 12 to actully do this which was already hard enough.
Since 7.0.1 battleground has popped 1x... was this patch supposed to take away skirmishes from us? Can you revert it? ?( ?( ?(

On another small note, on my paladin cape it says I can roll it to 'holy damage' and when I try this with insignias of attack all it does is skip holy damage and go to natural instead.

Holy damage on cape and shirt is a bug in the tooltip - you can't get holy damage on it. I think there is a third one like this but it slips my mind atm.

For about a week now we had <1 minute on random skirmishes, but it never pops cause the 24 member limit doesn't get reached. Please do something about this and make it 12 people again? So we can actully also enjoy our battlegrounds!

Please! It's painful to not have 24 people queue up and not have the skirmish pop! It's easier for a skirmish to get filled with 12 people queuing and then their guildies queuing to join instead of having 24 queue altogether.

Before we could also still join if bg popped, now people have to leave first because it is full. But like I said, so far I only saw it pop 1x while before the patch with this amount of players it would've popped every single day.

i think this was done for the sake of having "more balanced" teams but i guess ppl prefer (fast) pops over balanced teams :whistling:

Well 6 random people or 12 random people in a raid is the same to me really, and if the other raid is massively OP then bg is faster even, I just wish they would stop messing around with stuff that isn't broken.

reason why this was changed was probably cuz ppl signed as grp and could wreck easy the enemy team like this^^

It still makes no sense because on P2P the battlegrounds used to be random raids 24/7 and even if you que with a group others will join after it pops.

ofc^^ but if its lets say 9:8 for enemy team and you tell your buddy in ts now join then he was in your team ;) was pretty usual this tactic and worked in over 90% of the cases^^

but just to prevent this they would not change this so overall its harder to get a pop?! its not THIS bad if some ppl find together in grps

Not always. Majority of high gs players don't care about winning; or at least from what I saw on free to play for years.

if there are competent players it does not even require VOIP or beeing in the same guild, these natural talents just look at whats happening and act accordingly :P

but coordination makes a huge diffrence believe me^^ since a long time you could easily say who will win a bg before you even left the starting point^^

but yeah better one sidet bgs than none so change it back^^
