This should be a relatively easy Group Quest (Darkblood Citadel) but I can't figure out how to disable the first energy barrier.

Is there anywhere that has guides on the dungeons? I have searched google several times, found nothing of relevance.

You mean the barrier in the first room, at the entrance ? You need to walk up the stairs and talk to the npc there, he will give you some quest and then disable the barrier.

If you mean the barrier on the second floor, you can walk around it and reach 3rd floor where you can disable it after clearing it of mobs & bosses.

In the 2 screenshots below, there doesn't seem to be a way to go around.

You should be able to talk to that NPC through the barrier without needing to remove the barrier. Walk up to it and right click.

He will give you a quest to kill some vampires so you can continue.
