In what state is the game right now

Hello folks,
I used to play before Allods but quit couple years ago i guess nostalgia got me so i want to ask how is the game right now
so if you can answer me few questions to make my mind that would be great.
I really just wanna know few basics
How is the population and is it active
Is grinding a little bit improved, i remember getting gold was a b*tch back in the days, barely saving gold to upgrade 1 gear at a time
CS pricing still sky high?
that should do it :P to be fair ill be playing casually anyway, nothing hardcore
And one last, empire or league :P

yup currently doing that, its seems full of hope :D imo i hate starting from scratch and leveling 8o

depending on how much you dislike leveling you might consider buying the "miraculous ark" item
(instant level 60 and full set of level 5 runes along with some other goodies for 5700 BC)

i see no fun in it at all as i think leveling is the best part of this game, but some players seem to prefer "endgame" over the leveling-experience
(i guess especially players who enjoy social interaction like PVE in groups and pvp etc, while levling has more singleplayer-aspects)
