one of the first ones i noticed was on empire side there is a quest with a crazy killer in a house which seems to be a hint to Andre Chikatilo, the butcher of rostov



i also noticed in at least 2 large imperial buildings maps which at first represent the fictional empire vs the fictional league but at a second look rather resemble a polar azimuthal equidistant map of america and russia
