Mount problems

Ok, got newbie mount, placed it on hotbar however it did not work. I hit the key alt 12 in my case and it did not summon. So, I removed it from hotbar, now can't find it in the inventory. I tried dragging it from character panel won't let me. Plz help. Thank you.

Hello there!

Did you use the Mount or just left it in your bag? Because you have to activate it and then you can check in your stable (J usually or bottom right there´s a button for it) And from there you can pull the mount in your hotbar and it should work to press the key you placed it at to get mounted!
