An active GM here, whose name i won't reveal because i already sent screenshots to client support about his/her misbehaviour towards me, once threatened me without any evidence, i mean, *informed me* about multi account.
I told him/her there was nothing on ToS about it.
I even asked him/her, what about people with 2 accounts, one on NA and another on EU after merge.
I think he/she got [insert word(s) here] because i showed him/her evidence.
Then he/she went on a journey to find out some information about it to prove i was wrong.
10 mins later he/she showed me - listen now, the funny part - mail.ru rules about 1 account per person. And because you have to register your email address on my.com, having 2 accounts was breaking the ToS.
And of course threatning after this.

so having them is OK but pushing is NOT OK
... sounds interesting

but what about ppl playing from the same ip adress for example? (internetcafe, sharing net, etc)
what if they are in the same guild and trade with each other, participate in BGs, level together

(i know a game where they handle their 1-account-per-person-policy very,very strict... but ppl dont give a *** and simply use proxyservers or multiple internetconnections and many other things and do not care... and since it can never be proven they do that, they can multiaccount as they wish in the end anyway
to stealth their transactions they simply use "fake auctions" etc and rotate the virtual ressources
its a very good example how doing such rules can actually become laughable, because it only makes ppl want to beat this artficial restriction)

so its really hard (impossible) to execute this rule properly
thats why i think its such a good thing that allods solves this problem by simply making it unrentable anyway to multibox by using gamemechanics
