I started thinking about this and .... well I'm kind of actually interested in the new server.
I think it's kind of cool to have a reset.

Good lord I was just going to reference a bunch of high CSed players and I don't even remember anyone other than Roller (I've been gone too long I think)... Anyways: Those people that already have a huge amount invested in this game won't move over to the new server, but people that don't have anything invested into it can move over to there and play on a new less CSed server.

It might be nice to have a less CSed server option available. Unfortunately, this would lead to the population of New Frontier severely declining because it wouldn't get an influx of new players...ever. Why go to a server where everyone that still plays has a sh*tload of CS when you could just go play on one that you actually have a chance of catching up on?

So I am definitely seeing positives and negatives to this...

Ultimately, I think it's more negative than positive because it will kill New Frontier even quicker than it's already dying.

i would understand if the playerbase would be much much bigger but with the current state of the game... srly?
as you said all the new payers (fresh fish for the wales = big cs'ers) will go there so all the cs'ers who paid precisely to have easy wins agaisnst new/less cs'es players will get bored and leave = no more incomes = dead servers...

Looking at the average level of runes and other CS stuff on New Frontier it seems that everyone who plays actively has everything or almost everything already.

It's absolutely discouraging for new players (however I see players with lvl 10-11 runes that are Soldiers or Veterans max) to join the race even if they wouldn't mind spending some money on the game and even despite the presence of temporary artifacts. Because they realize that those who are on the same level of cashing as them are much more ahead because of the time they have already been spending.

New server gives an opportunity to play on a pretty much equal level. Especially coz no one will trade accounts there and stuff like that.

They would probably time the opening of the new server with some massive commercial, so I hope the population will be high on the new server, at least from the start.

On New Frontier ppl can still buy full cash shop accounts if they like and compete with those who play very long time already.

And in a year or two they will probably merge the servers together

this is what came to my mind when i read the accouncement...


i seriously doubt veteran players are willing to donate / farm again from 0
its only interesting to completely new players who know the game well imo
however completely new players eventually will also prefer the option to have a mentor willing to boost them with best friend mount, carry to orange sector, get carried by strong parties and all these things

this will either create a diversion of the future possible population or the server will be a underpopulated server like the paymentserver
in far future there maybe will be a servermerge again then....?

ppl will "burstlevel" with 23-51 and 51-69 astral

1st first this all sounds like sort of "reset" option
but keep in mind the only ones "reset" would be farmers who change server
farmers accumulate strenght over time, slowly but donators do not (well they will have to wait for some sales, but that does not matter so much)
so if you search for the "equality" experience better try the subscription-server i guess...?

i dont see the purpose of a new server... it will be the same thing like new frontier just with far less players on the long

i guess it will be similar like when the last "restart" was (introduction of paymentserver): many "mondaycars" and after a few days (maybe weeks) it will go down down down (and stay there)
but as i cant foresee the future i will let it be a surprise...

I'm so sad about these news... 8.1 seemed so promising, and now this? Well this will be Avilon 2.0, it will last maybe until middle of 9.0 and servers will be merged. Sad day for every allods lover

if server will be merged it would be just like a bit convinientstuff for new players until merge? i have no (zero) experience what this news may bring for New Frontier coz allods is my first and only mmorpg, i just tested eternal lands and wow a few hours.

im very curious about this new server but i have no hope that enough players will join it to enjoy it...

I am not entirely sure but i believe this server maybe temporary as the russians had a new server for their leveling competition they had, the 1st one to hit level 75 got runes level 7s i think and other cash shop items.

- Many players do want to try the new server to escape the highly chash-shopped op players
- Some people with money will buy runes 13 and stuff just again to be top (plus this times, it will be fewer ppl, so even better for them)
- Account buyers and other frauds, ppl who cheated their way to high cs by exploiting previous versions of the game, because their orginial server (before the international merge) was not looked after, will be left on the dying new frontier (I like that).
- Splitting the already low population (man, we cant even get arena 24 v 24 full!) will result in two dysfunctional servers and a massive reduction in game fun, which makes further ppl quit.
- Ultimately they will merge the two servers again, resulting in some dudes to have two rune 13 chars (I like that)

Conclusion: This is just a buisiness move to lure some players into repeating cashing up their chars. It is bad for all players who still enjoy this game. On the other hand it's a chance for some newbies to experience allods in a healthy eco system (for short).

You want fair competition? Then join the p2p server. There is absolutely no need to install a new f2p server except trying to press even more money out of the player base. They are already spending as little money as possible on European/American servers; they only translate the patches they implement in the ru servers (btw, the translations are b-shit). This step is just making more money, so boycott it and dont play on the new f2p.

well , it is kinda for balancing the economy in this game . prices of things will drop way down on main servers ( wen people leave to new server ) , this will make crystals back to normal prices again since it is almost touching the sky now (7.5k /crystal )
and after like the game is balanced again , a new merge will happen between new and old server . this is saving the game from die . u can check alredy crystal prices now , it was 7.5k now is 6.2k , coz people rush to put all thair money into crystals to use them on new server , which made crystal prcies drop down , and it will keep go lower by time and balancing will happen

I'm wondering whether or not the server will mirror the Russian server that they opened. They seemed to have given out a lot of rewards to those who played the server.

you havent read my post, have you?....

but i will clarify it for you

- i did basic math for those who are interested; its a suggestion, nothing else
- you can buy all these things without donating just by using the exchange
- i stated that i played 4years and a half without donating 1 time and still reached level 9 runes and all relevant items from itemshop (but my personal story is irrelevant for this thread)

If they do the exact same thing the Russian's did with their fresh server, it could have a cool result. I'm playing the new RU server to see how it is, and it is very fulfilling. Getting 8's, and all this midgear cash shop is really nice to have so early on.

No, it's not a suggestion, the ones that will "reset", as you're saying, are just like returning players to New Frontier who know that this game is not like it was 6 years ago and you just don't have fun anymore without quick cash shop items. I remember having so many people in every level range, you would actually find people to pvp with in the arena at every level, also you would find so many people doing low level dungeons and world bosses, and you didn't have to spend money then because there were so many 0 cash shop players and you had so much content with them. But now you literally have no interesting content unless you are cap level.

Now you may see why I found your statement to be funny, because you put yourself in the shoes of returning players or fresh players in 2016-2017 and you realized that the game will be no fun without flying through the low level content with cash shop items.

The lucky players will be the ones who will play 24/7 in the first month of the new server, before the gold:crystal ratio flies through the roof. But again, is that fun?

i thought what i would do if i was a donator and would intend to play seriously on the server and want to boost mysef

if you let other playes decide your playstlye its your fault... why do you have to rush to max level? you can just play in YOUR speed and enjoy the leveling
you are good off if you can just accept there will always be someone "above" you - just because someone has level 13 runes it also does not mean you have to get the same, dont you? you CAN but you dont HAVE to... its an unforced decision

just because someone will pick the goods i suggested it does not mean you HAVE to do the same
there will be players with runes 211-111 for sure on the new server, they will be in asee teph, it will be fun anyway, doesnt matter how much you farm / donate

if you enjoy something its fun automatically

economical ingameprofit maybe pleasent too, but its not #1 objective for all
