Psionicist in 7.0

I used to post translated talents and rubies for my class for previous versions whenever any serious changes occurred and now someone reminded me about that :cursing:

Since 7.0 is about (unless they decide to shut it all down) and I have access to more information than most of the people around these forums (from playing on the Russian test server and reading Russian forums), I decided I'll share it.

I cannot guarantee this translation or the skill names to be 100% accurate. They'll most likely differ in official translation.

All the tooltip numbers used are from green geared level 70 character with undistributed stat points. I'm including them to give general idea of skill power in relation to other skills.

I will also comment on some skills that I think require more clarification than the tooltip provides.


1. Available Aspects

All classes now have aspects, like "Healer" does in current game version. This basically means that in order to perform a role in a viable way, you have to build specifically around it and turn on an appropriate aspect. They cannot be switched in combat and taking more than one in the same build is not a smart thing to do. There are five of them total: Healing Aspect (healer), Defense Aspect (tank), Assault Aspect (dps), Suppression Aspect (crowd controller) and Support Aspect (buffer/debuffer).

Out of those five, three are available to psionicist:


Assault Aspect
Element: Physical
Cast time: 5s
The character takes on the role of a powerful fighter capable of ruthlessly destroying enemies.
All damage dealt is increased by 10/20/30%.
Only one aspect can be active at a time.


Suppression Aspect
Element: Physical
Cast time: 5s
The character takes on the role of a skillful strategist capable of incapacitating enemies.
Skills that control enemies are cast instantly.
Duration of applied control effects increases by 50/100/200%.
Does not affect racial or reincarnation skill effects.
Only one aspect can be active at a time.


Support Aspect
Element: Physical
Cast time: 5s
The character takes on a supportive role capable of strengthening allies and weakening enemies.
Duration of support effects increases by 50/100/200% and their effectiveness increases by 7/14/21%.
Does not affect racial or reincarnation skill effects.
Only one aspect can be active at a time.

Comment: It's actually "or" rather than "and". In the case of psionicist it's weakening enemies.

2. Class mechanics

Resource
Mana is completely gone from psionicist. Instead a new resource has been introduced. It's called "Stress" or "Mental Overload".
The name "Стресс" is used in original version and for those of you who remember pre-Gipat psionicist, the same name was used there for "Mental Overload" debuff stacks.

In 7.0 it's a bar with the total capacity of 100 units, that fills up as you use skills:

Mental overload decays automatically over time at different speed depending on already accumulated amount:

7 per second if you have 50 or less
3 per second if you have 51-99
10 per second if you are out of combat
When you reach 100 (and are in combat) it stops decaying.

Some skills cannot be used when above a certain Mental Overload level.

Special class interface
Will Suppression frame is gone, only one is left for Mental Link. Hypnosis is now no longer related to Mental Link in any way.



Psionicist is now able to summon Phantoms (up to a maximum of 6 up at the same time). As of 7.0.00.55 hotfix, there's an interface that displays their count:

They attack the target linked using Mental Link with a ranged attack that looks like psychic shock. If no target is linked, the Phantoms attack a random target that is already in combat. Two new skills are added to the panel which are used to control the Phantoms:


Disintegration
Element: Astral
Cast time: Instant
Mental Overload: 10
Every summoned Phantom explodes dealing 22156 damage to all enemies within 15m radius. Requires at least one Phantom.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 90.


Culmination
Element: Astral
Range: 30
Cast time: Instant
Mental Overload: 15
Cooldown: 15s
Psionicist pulls all summoned Phantoms towards the targeted enemy.
The target and all enemies on Phantoms' path receive 24830 damage from every Phantom. Requires at least one Phantom.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 85.

Comment: Those two skills are off the global cooldown.

3. World Mystery skills


Darkening
Element: Astral
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 1m 30s
Psionicist summons a temporary brain fog on all enemies in a 15m radius, immobilizing them for 2 seconds.


Cerebral Storm
Element: Physical
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 3m
Psionicist speeds up own flow of thought, reducing all skill cooldowns as well as global cooldown by 20% for 10 seconds.

Comment: Using one of those skills puts the cooldown also on the other. They are off the global cooldown.

4. Racial skills


Psionic Shell (Elf)
Element: Astral
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 1m
Psionicist protects himself with a psionic shell abstracting away the pain for 8 seconds. While the effect is active, damage received from direct attacks is reduced by 117614.


Mental Pressure (Gibberling)
Element: Astral
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 1m
Psionicist concentrates own skills, increasing Critical Strike Rating by 150 for 10 seconds.


Frozen Time (Xadaganian)
Element: Astral
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 1m
Psionicist influences the very fabric of time, stunning all enemies in a 30m radius for 1.5 second.


Labyrinth of Pain (Arisen)
Element: Astral
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 1m
Psionicist inflicts the target with a mental curse dealing damage every second for 6 seconds.
The target is stunned for 1s at the start and at the end of the effect.

Comment: Sadly I do not have any damage numbers on this one.


Unleashed Rage (Priden)
Element: Astral
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 1m
Psionicist shapes the accumulated Mental Overload into a murderous spell dealing 105275 damage to the target.
Reduces accumulated Mental Overload by 40.

The phantom attacks a target linked with "Mental Link".
If "Mental Link" is not estabilished, phantoms attack random target.
Deals 4708/5822/7336 damage every 2 seconds.
Phantom lasts for 13/14/15 seconds and has 10/15/20% of psionicist's maximum health.
Phantom cannot move on it's own and is immune to control effects.
All damage taken by phantoms from area effects is reduced by 90%.
Up to 6 phantoms can be summoned.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 80.

Comment: The cooldown can be reduced with rubies and "proc" effects.


Torment
Element: Physical
Mental Overload: 20

Mental suggestion
Psionicist uses power of thought to crush the enemy within, dealing 36588/46344/56101 damage.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 80.

Comment: This deals physical damage. Psionicist is physical/astral damage hybrid now.
Mental suggestions is a group of skills affected by certain rubies.
Cooldown can be reduced by "proc" effects.



Choke
Element: Astral
Mental Overload: 30
Range: 40
Channel time: 4s
Cooldown: 10s
Damage over time
Psionicist suffocates the target, dealing 10001/12688/15335 damage every second.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 70.

Comment: This spell's animation is now a LAZ0R! L-A-Z-0-R!
Also additional effects can be added to it using rubies.



Astral Form
Element: Physical
Mental Overload: 25
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40s
Psionicist partially assumes an astral form for 4/5/6 seconds.
While the effect is active, all damage taken is reduced by 50%.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 75.


Agony
Element: Physical
Mental Overload: 20

Mental suggestion
Psionicist creates an illusion of unbearable pain,
dealing 8476/10736/12997 damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 80.

Comment: Cooldown can be lowered with "proc" effects. Can also be spread to multiple targets with a ruby.


Mental Link
Element: Astral
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 15/7/0s
Psionicist establishes a mental link with the target.
Link is required for maximum effectiveness of certain skills.
Link is broken when distance between the psionicist and the target increases above 40m.
Psionicist can keep up only one mental link at a time.


Spectral Assassin
Element: Physical
Mental Overload: 25
Range: 40
Cast time: 1.5s
Cooldown: 45/40/35s
Damage over time
Can be prepared in advance
Creates a spectral copy of the target behind it's back. The copy attacks only this target.
Deals 14674/18676/25346 damage every 2.5 seconds. Lasts 12 seconds.
Spectral Assassin's health is equal to 35/40/45% of psionicist's maximum health.
Spectral Assassin is only visible to it's target.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 75.


Vulnerability
Element: Physical
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40s
Amplified by support aspect
Increases target's damage taken by 25% for 0.7/1.4/2 seconds.

Comment: This can be applied automatically regardless of cooldown while using other skills with certain rubies.
There can be only one vulnerability on the target at a time, this is the case with all support debuffs.



Vortex of Blades
Element: Physical
Mental Overload: 25
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 15s
Damage over time
Area effect
Surrounds the target with Astral Blades that deal 7612/9642/11672 damage every 2 seconds for 8 seconds.
Damage is also dealt to all enemies in a 15m radius from the target.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 75.

Comment: This is physical damage even though part of the tooltip says it's astral. There's some nice effects for this in rubies.


Wounds
Element: Physical
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40s
Amplified by support aspect
Reduces healing done to the target by 40% for 0.7/1.4/2 seconds.

Comment: This can be applied automatically regardless of cooldown while using other skills with certain rubies.
There can be only one wounds effect on the target at a time, this is the case with all support debuffs.



Psychic Trauma
Element: Astral

Direct attack
Psionicist's mental effort deals 17435/22084/26733 damage to the target.

Comment: Difference vs unupgraded version is very minimal. I think it's useless unless you got tons of spare talents (not gonna happen).


Meditation
Element: Physical
Channel time: 5s
Cooldown: 60/45/30s
Psionicist instantly reduces accumulated Mental Overload by 10 and each second for 5 seconds by additional 5.


Cowardice
Element: Physical
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40s
Amplified by support aspect
Reduces target's Willpower by 350 for 0.7/1.4/2 seconds.

Comment: This can be applied automatically regardless of cooldown while using other skills with certain rubies.
There can be only one Cowardice effect on the target at a time, this is the case with all support debuffs.



Psychosis
Element: Astral
Mental Overload: 30
Range: 40

Damage over time
Area effect
Mental suggestion
Influences the mind of the target and all enemies within 15m radius from it.
Enemies receive 9787/12397/15007 damage every second for 4 seconds.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 70.


Hypnosis
Element: Astral
Range: 40
Cast time: 5/4/3s
Cooldown: 30/20/10s
Can be prepared in advance
Mental suggestion
The target enters a hypnotic trance for 30s and becomes unable to take any actions.
The effect will be removed upon receiving damage if the affected target's health is below 90%.
Psionicist can keep only one target at a time hypnotized.

Comment: Two target CC is a thing of the past.

Twin
Element: Astral
Mental Overload: 25
Range: 15
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40s
Psionicist instantly teleports to a targeted area and becomes invisible for 4s, creating an illusory twin behind.
While invisible, psionicist can teleport to the twin ending the invisibility instantly.
All damage taken while invisible is reduced by 75% and movement speed is increased by 25%.
Using any skills will instantly end the invisibility effect.
Twin lasts 10 seconds, cannot move or attack and cannot be damaged or killed.
Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 75.

Comment: This skill is pretty weird. The 10s twin duration doesn't make any sense with only 4s invisibility. Also your party cannot see (and therefore heal) you either. Very poorly designed skill imo.


Horror
Element: Astral
Range: 40
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 60/50/40s
Mental suggestion
Fills the target's mind with horrid visions, causing fear for 1.5s.
The target runs away unable to take any actions.


Entropy
Element: Astral
Cast time: 4/3.5/3s
Cooldown: 3m 35s
Strong mental effort affecting all enemies in a 30m radius from the psionicist.
Every target in the area of effect receives 8004/9338/10672 damage or is affected with one of three random effects:
"Fear", "Stun" or "Helplessness" for 1 second. Targets under those effects cannot take any actions.
Duration of those effects is increased by 1 second for every 25 points of accumulated Mental Overload.
Consumes 5 tears of the dragon. Quality of tears used affects damage, cooldown and duration of negative effects.


Superiority
Element: Astral
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 4m 40s
Psionicist enters a battle trance, reaching the peak of own effectiveness.
While the effect is active:
All skills can be used while moving
All skill cooldowns and cast times are reduced by 20/25/30%
Mental Overload decays faster by 3/6/9 points every second
Damage taken is reduced and damage done is increased by 10/15/20%
Effect lasts 5.5/7.5/9.5 seconds
Consumes 4 tears of the dragon. Quality of tears used affects the cooldown and duration.

6. Rubies
It is important to notice that some rubies are tied to a certain aspect now and do not work if that aspect is not activated.




Reign over astral
Assault Aspect
Increases astral damage done by 6/12/18/24%.


Phlegmatism
Using "Psychic Assault" and "Psychic Trauma" abilities reduces accumulated Mental Overload by 2/4 points and currently running cooldown of "Phantom" and "Spectral Assassin" by 1/2s.


Total concentration
"Concentration" lasts 1/2/3s longer and also instantly reduces accumulated Mental Overload by 2/4/6 points.


Sadism
When scoring a critical strike, currently accumulated Mental Overload is reduced by 3/6/9 points and currently running cooldown of "Phantom" and "Spectral Assassin" is reduced by 1/3/4s.


Clarity of thoughts
Increases Vigor by 3/6/9%.


Deformation
Assault Aspect
Increases damage done with "Mind Sear", "Psychic Assault" and "Psychic Trauma" by 15/30%.


Dominance
Assault Aspect
Increases all damage dealt by 7/14/21%.


Breakdown
Assault Aspect
Damage over time and the attacks of "Phantoms" and "Spectral Assassin" have 30% chance to apply a "Breakdown" effect to the target for 15 seconds (stacks up to 3 times).
Next "Psychic Assault" or "Psychic Trauma" used against the target will deal additional 4402/8804/13206 damage per stack and cause the effects to be removed.


Mental agony
Using "Psychic Assault" or "Psychic Trauma" reduces the running cooldown of "Agony" by 1-2s.


Mental torment
Using "Psychic Assault" or "Psychic Trauma" reduces the running cooldown of "Torment" by 1-2s.


Endless torture
Using "Mind Sear" reduces the running cooldown of "Agony" by 1-3s.


Sophisticated torture
Using "Mind Sear" reduces the running cooldown of "Torment" by 1-3s.


Empathy
When "Mental Link" is active on any target, critical strike chance is increased by 3/6/9%.


Pyrolysis
Assault Aspect
Scoring a critical strike with a direct attack applies "Pyrolysis" effect to to the target for 15s (stacks up to 1/2/3 times).
Next "Mind Sear" used against the target will deal additional 4402/8804/13206 damage per stack and cause the effects to be removed.
"Pyrolysis" cannot be activated by critical damage of "Mind Sear" and itself.


Echo of pain
"Torment" used against a target affected by "Mental Link" will also deal 35% of it's damage to all enemies in 15m radius from the target.


Intuition
Increases critical strike rating by 40/80/120.


Everlasting pain
Increases the duration of "Agony" by 4 seconds.


Mass destruction
Increases the damage of "Vortex of Blades" and "Psychosis" by 10/20/30%.


Fanaticism
Scoring a critical strike with damage over time effects or the attacks of "Phantoms" or "Spectral Assassin" reduces the currently accumulated Mental Overload by 2 points and the running cooldown of "Phantom" and "Spectral Assassin" by 2 seconds.


Reign over matter
Assault Aspect
Increases physical damage done by 6/12/18/24%.


Fiery Vortex
"Mind Sear" used against a target affected by "Vortex of Blades" will additionally deal 15/30% of it's damage to all enemies in 15m radius from the target.


Annihilation
"Agony" used against a target affected by "Vortex of Blades" will additionally spread to all enemies in 15m radius from the target.
"Agony" on those additional targets will only last one third of the original duration.


Centrifugal force
Critical damage dealt with direct attack skills and "Psychosis" against a target affected by "Vortex of Blades" will prolong that effect by 1 second.

Mass panic

Еvery time any of the psionicist's control effects lands on the target affected with "Mental Link", two enemies in a 7m radius from that target are disoriented for 0.5 second. Does not work with long lasting control effects, immobilizes or control effects that ignore Willpower.


Tyranny
Suppression Aspect
While "Despotism" effect is active, all damage dealt is increased by 10/20%.


Asphyxia
Suppression Aspect
While "Despotism" effect is active, "Choke" stuns the target for 0.5 second every time it deals damage, ignoring Willpower.
Cooldown duration of "Choke" is increased three times.


Mind bender
Suppression Aspect
While "Despotism" effect is active, presence of "Mental Link" on any target increases Mental Overload decay by 1 per second.


Confusion
Suppression Aspect
"Psychic Assault", "Psychic Trauma" as well as attacks of phantoms and spectral assassin reduce the target's movement speed by 50% for 0.5/1/1.5 second.


Despotism
Suppression Aspect
When using class and racial abilities, psionicist receives one stack of "Subjugation" effect for 2/4s. "Choke" and "Psychosis" apply one stack of this effect every time they deal damage.
When "Subjugation" reaches 4 stacks, psionicist receives "Despotism" effect for 4 seconds. This effect prolongs when using skills.
While "Despotism" effect is active, cooldown durations of all "Mental suggestion" skills are reduced by 50%.

Comment: This is a key ruby for Suppression Aspect and it's very important to maintain the effect as long as possible (ideally forever).


Ambush
Suppression Aspect
When casting "Spectral Assassin", it's target will be stunned for 0.5/1/1.5 second.
Reduces the cast time of "Spectral Assassin" by 33/66/100%.


Despair
Suppression Aspect
Dealing critical damage with direct attack skills apply "Helplessness" effect to the target and additional 1/2/3 enemies within 8m of the target for 0.5/1/1.5 second.
The effect cannot trigger more often than once in 21/14/7 seconds.
"Helplessness" prevents the affected targets from using skills.


Pain shock
Suppression Aspect
"Torment" and "Agony" stun the target and an additional enemy within 8m of the target for 0.33/0.66/1 second.


Contusion
Suppression Aspect
"Disintegration" stuns all affected targets for 0.5/1/1.5 second.
Reduces the cooldown of "Phantom" by 5/10/15%.


Concentration
Element: Physical
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 30s
Psionicist concentrates for 5 seconds, increasing all damage done by 7/14%.
While the effect is active, Mental Overload decay speed is increased by 2 points per second.
This ability can be used while affected by control effects.


Mental barrier
Increases Stamina by 20/40/60%.


Materialization
Suppression Aspect
When a phantom appears, 2/4/6 enemies within 3/6/9m radius of that phantom are stunned for 0.5 second.
Reduces the cooldown of "Phantom" by 5/10/15%.


Blustering Vortex
Suppression Aspect
Damage over time dealt by "Vortex of Blades" also reduces movement speed by 50% for 1 second.


Psychokinesis
Suppression Aspect
Damage over time caused by "Psychosis" also immobilizes for 1 second.


Implosion
Suppression Aspect
After using "Mental Pulse" skill, all affected targets will be pulled back towards the psionicist, stunned for 0.75/1.5 second and receive 24012/48024 physical damage.
Cooldown duration of "Mental Pulse" is increased 2.5/1.5 times.


Solid grasp
Suppression Aspect
Cooldown duration of "Choke" is reduced by 30/45/60% and it's damage is increased by 15/30/45%.


Inevitability
Increases Brutality by 30/60/90.


Mental closure
Suppression Aspect
All Mental suggestions immobilize the target and all enemies within 4m from it for 0.5/1/1.5 second.


Domination
Increases damage dealt against the target affected by "Mental Link" by 5/10%.


Mass hallucinations
Suppression Aspect
"Horror" affects one additional enemy closest to it's original target.


Lightheartedness
Suppression Aspect
Increases the Mental Overload decay speed by 2/4/6 points per second.


Intrusion
Suppression Aspect
Estabilishing "Mental Link" applies "Disorientation" effect to the target for 1 second.
"Disorientation" forces the target to chaotically wander, preventing any other actions.
Cooldown duration of "Mental Link" is increased by 20 seconds.

"Cowardice" reduces willpower by 350.


Flight of thought
Support Aspect
While "Enlightenment" effect is active "Choke", "Psychosis", "Torment" and "Spectral Assassin" can be used while moving and all damage dealt is increased by 10/20%.


Humiliation
Support Aspect
While "Enlightenment" effect is active, damage of "Psychic Assault", "Psychic Trauma" and "Mind Sear" is increased by 10/20/30%.


Clear mind
Support Aspect
While "Enlightenment" effect is active, received healing is increased by 15/30% and damage dealt is increased by 5/10%.


Catharsis
Support Aspect
"Concentration" additionally removes all dispelable negative effects from the psionicist.


Poltergeist
Damage dealt by phantoms and spectral assassin is increased by 12/24/36%.
When entering combat psionicist receives 1/2/3 stacks of "Poltergeist" effect for 8 seconds.
This effect allows to use "Phantom" ability without triggering it's cooldown.


Suggestion mastery
Increases damage done with all Mental suggestion skills by 7/14/21%.


Enlightenment
Support Aspect
When using class and racial skills, psionicist receives stacks of "Illumination" effect for 2/4 seconds.
When "Illumination" reaches 4 stacks, psionicist receives "Enlightenment" effect for 4 seconds. This effect is prolonged by using skills.
While "Enlightenment" is active, psionicist's Longevity is increased by 200 and Mental Overload decay is increased by 2/4 points per second.

Comment: Similarly do "Despotism" for Suppression Aspect, this is a key ruby for Support Aspect. The effect should be maintained as long as possible.
"Longevity" is one of the new stats that you can also get on gear. It increases received healing.



Child of the astral
Support Aspect
Suppression Aspect
"Astral Form" and "Astral Body" reduce damage taken by an additional 5/10/15%.


Manipulation
Support Aspect
When a phantom appears or disappears, 6 enemies within 15m radius of that phantom are randomly affected with either "Shock", "Weakness" or "Vulnerability" for 1 second.

Comment: "Shock" is another support effect that psionicist didn't have access to prior to this hotfix. It increases the cast times and cooldowns (including global cooldown) of the affected enemies by 25%. When applied to a monster, reduces it's damage done by 35%.


Absolute peace

Increases Willpower by 50/100/150.


Tremor

Critical damage over time dealt by the psionicist or any of his projections reduces the target's movement speed by 50% for 0.75/1.5 second.


Invisible claws

Damage of "Choke" is increased by 45%.
"Choke" applies "Wounds" effect (if that skill is learned).
"Wounds" reduce healing received by 40%.


Final disintegration
Support Aspect
Six enemies out of those who take damage from "Disintergation" are affected with "Weakness" for 2 seconds.


Premonition
Support Aspect
Reduces all damage taken and increases all damage done by 5/10/15%.
All of support effects applied by the psionicist that weaken enemies are 5/10/15% more potent.


Dreamwalker
Support Aspect
Suppression Aspect
"Meditation" can be used while moving.
While "Meditation" is active, all damage taken is reduced by 30% and movement speed is reduced by 50%.
While "Meditation" is active, psionicist receives "Courage" effect.
"Courage" increases Willpower by 350.

Cannot be used when Mental Overload exceeds 80.


Three-edged blade
Support Aspect
Attacks of "Spectral Assassin" apply "Wounds" effect (if that skill is learned).
"Wounds" reduce healing received by 40%.


Superficial trance
Support Aspect
Establishing "Mental Link" reduces currently accumulated Mental Overload by 5 points.


Common touch
Support Aspect
Increases Mental Overload decay speed by 2/4 points per second.


Enslavement
Support Aspect
Increases the damage of all Mental suggestion skills by 30%.
Target of any Mental suggestion is inflicted with "Vulnerability" (if that skill is learned).
"Vulnerability" increases damage taken by 25%.

7. Additional details I forgot to mention earlier

-Cast time and channeled skills are no longer interrupted by damage (at least for psionicist, no idea about other classes).
-Support debuffs (Vulnerability, Wounds, Cowardice and others not used by psionicist) DO NOT work on "red" bosses, therefore psionicist's and mage's Support aspects are pvp-only.
-Every class has a "main stat" that seems to be better for it than for most others. As you can see from the talents and rubies, for psionicist it's Critical Strike Rating.
-Multiple new stats have been introduced and "Stat build" is a thing once again after 4.0.

-Psionicist also receives a toggle skill:

Cautious fight
Element: Physical
Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: 3s
While this effect is active, all skills and rubies that deal splash damage will cease doing so.

7.0.00.55 Hotfix brought some major changes:
  • An interface visually displaying the amount of summoned phantoms has been added.
  • "Will suppression" ruby has been replaced with "Mass panic" - every time any of the psionicist's control effects lands on the target affected with "Mental Link", two enemies in a 7m radius from that target are disoriented for 0.5 second. Does not work with long lasting control effects, immobilizes or control effects that ignore Willpower.
  • "Despair" now affects 1/2/3 additional enemies up from 1.
  • "Materialization" rubies have been reworked to the following: When a phantom appears, 2/4/6 enemies within 3/6/9m radius of that phantom are stunned for 0.5 second.
  • "Ambush" rubies in addition to current effects, now also reduce the cast time of "Spectral Assassin" by 33/66/100%.
  • "Manipulation" ruby has been reworked to the following: When a phantom appears or disappears, 6 enemies within 15m radius of that phantom are randomly affected with either "Shock", "Weakness" or "Vulnerability" for 1 second.
  • "Oppression" ruby has been replaced with "Final disintegration" - 6 enemies out of those who take damage from "Disintegration" are affected with "Weakness" for 2 seconds.
  • "Premonition" rubies in addition to current effects, now also increase potency all support effects by 5/10/15%.
  • "Psychosis" can now be channeled until the end even if it's target has been killed.

I updated the thread to reflect these. Including a picture of the new interface element.

the dmg that is supposed to be aoe will be dealt to the target linked by the psi? does that mean a 35% dmg increase for the link with that "torment" skill?

It may be my english skill being to low to understand, can you clarify that?

What it's meant to do is, for example in case you don't want to break a nearby CC-ed target, you can use this skill and "turn off" the splash damage. It doesn't increase damage to main target in any way. I'll fix this in the thread to be more clear.

First of all, thank you Dala for all the info on the changes. As always, when big stuff is happening for psis you're there for us ;)

Even though this:

is not what I was looking forward to, I'm still going to give my psi (and Allods in general) another try since everything else sounds quite interesting :)

Is Psi really downgraded in 7.0?

Because i'm lvl 14 now, and I could still change to another class if needed :o
Or are some people overreacting?

Psi was improved in PvE and made much worse in PvP.

On the p2p server suppression aspect seems to be viable, but from what I gathered reading Russian forums this is not the case for f2p due to much higher player damage.

There are warriors enough if you know what i mean...
