The WH you attended with me in I told you I was "Ranged build" due to trying out a stat set. So yeah as a ranged scout, I stay out of the way of the main fight. And I don't think Ottomatic is considered a easy kill target. Nor are several of the healers/warriors I would target to kill.

There is a extensive difference in how Melee scout and RANGED scout works, as ranged, by all means, stay back.
as melee, its alot more aggressive

I never stated I didnt have 11s, someone else already said I did have high runes, which I never denied, I simply said, "11s are not all that rare"
which is true, most people seem to have 10-12

So you can try and say all my targets are weak targets but Turk, Cosmicpower, Ottomatic, Theangel, various other tanky classes such as paladins, are not squishy classes. My main thing is I kill who ever is around and whoever poses me the biggest threat. Be it a psi, bard, or a mage. Psi's are terrifying when they hit you with thoughtful spirits xD

Hell even sleepwalkers performs excellent and he is in 9s and 8s

Your issue is you are using GREEN GEAR. which is far weaker then anything you should be wearing. The new astral gear is not worth wearing til it is blue or epic. And even then some pieces of the astral gear at blue are not worth wearing til they are epics.

And yeah when you go as a scout jumping into a group of people such as Ottomatic, GeneralBruxu and a bard, which I watched you do. You are going to die in seconds.

You are right in all you said, its still a miracle to me. My runes are 10,10,10,8,7,6 (was 9,9,9,7,7,7 before) so my defense is little weak, what is not explaining my weak damage. I am playing scout now since 4 years and 3 years i was good in pvp, thats why it hurts now. I dont know what a pc with slow grafic and LAG maybe cause in disadvantage as i never played on a gaming computer. Maybe its all in the setup. I made big mistake thinking as higher the number of Vitality and Stamina is as better i will do dmg, so i was throwing away most of my fevor 52 astral gear. What includes my frstration is also spending so much energy in making a character, i have patronage5, legend 2nd earring, fab trinket, extra rubies etc. and you get killed like a one hit.
It should never be like this.
I mean you spent time and money to get best items, good runes, good glyphs, relicts... and what happens is against some players you are treated like a level 40 would fight with a level 60 player.
The fights should be much more balanced, and last longer, i hate it so much to get cc of players robbing you any chance to make a reaction until you are dead. You get blinded, feared, silenced, thrown to the air or to the ground. Seconds where you can not press any button, do anything to escape this misery, and then you are dead before you even could start fighting back.
In my opinion thats unfair mechanics in the game. Well Allods pvp is not for sensible minds but could be built so that fighters have more chance and fun even when they loose in the end.

Even sometimes jumping right into a group of enemies. Lately i even dieing more often then i make kills.





There's all your problems. Again, scout is not a tank. Scout isn't a healer either. Nor a warden, summoner or psi, who have some kind of sustain or defense mechanisms. There are two ways of aproaching pvp situations, you either sit in the backline and pick the important targets with ( hopefuly ) little notice - if you're ranged - or go in the middle of the battle and again focus important targets - if you're melee.

You should however never be the initiator of a teamfight, since the first to show his face is the first to get focused down, and you don't want that no matter what your spec is, melee or ranged. Let a paladin/warrior/healer/bard w/e initiate first while you take a few seconds to check the surroundings and find your target and/or a safe spot kill it from if you're ranged.

Blood yes scout should stay back yes hes not a tank or healer but so is a mage or psi and they got 10 x more survi then us. Scout is the ONLY class without a survi skil!!

Can a mage silence for 8 seconds? How about disarming? No? Can a psi do that? Wow psi's cant either? You're saying psi's have 10x more surviability than scouts...where did you get those numbers? Back it up somehow. Have you ever seen a psi do top 3-5 damage in a skirmish constantly? Nope. You know why? Because they lack sustained damage in pvp. How do they compensate that lack in damage? By hard cc's and a bit more surviability for a leather-wearing class. Same goes for mage, after their barriers and reflections are gone, they are pretty much a dead target.


Sure they can both freeze/hypno you for a long time, but that doesn't always work. Granted they have invis, but so do we, and guess what, we have smoke cloud too besides that. A mage can flash away from a target, but yet again a scout can somersault from one. Stop making scout look like a helpless goose in PvP pointing out all it's flaws. Every class has its good points and bad points, yet that doesn't make a class straight-down useless in pvp just because the vast majority of people playing said class don't know what the f. they are doing most of the time.


Bbbbut Bloodraven my ranged scout can't beat anyone in a 1v1 match in arena. Get over it, scout was meant to kite in order to survive, meaning you need an open-spaced area, not the 50x40 yard range ( or w/e the size ) of arenas are. In the rare ocasions where you have to fight someone 1v1 in a BG ( DF/WH etc ) you do have the open space required to kite. You have the 52 yard range rubies for the extra 12 yards, not for the extra 3% damage.


Scout already recieved a ( minor ) buff in 4.4, and another buff ( some say major ) awaits us with the class rework in 5.2, so if you still feel scout is weak, reroll now to another class then come back in 5.2 saying oo mm gee scouts were always good im so glad they finaly buffed us even more.

As far as Psis goes, I personally rage at damn Psi's lol. Ecto barrier, twin, loop of time, ecto again. It gets old after a while. Psi is very capable of horrifying burst damage with thoughtful spirit but after that their damage drops. A Psi in 1v1 can very very tanky especially with ecto rubies. BUT, in group PVP, they get smashed like you wouldn't believe. Monobots is one of the best Psi's I ever fought and when I catch him right he doesn't have time to do anything. A Psi honestly has far less armor abilities then a scout when it comes down to straight armor values.

The thing with Melee scout is you should always carry rank 2(at the least) double shot with you. A pure melee scout doesnt work well. Recoiling > smoke cloud > wait a seconed or 2, double shot blink. Its alot of burst damage and it suuuuuucks for 90% of the people it hits. Especially if you use thrust as you hit them with blink. They essentially take 4 hits at once.

Tbh I carry r3 precision shot in almost every pvp build I make of late ( with the 2 rubies aswell ) and hardly ever use arrow to the knee to chain with rapid fire anymore ( using somersault as knockdown alternative instead ) just because of how amazing a 6-7 second disarm/silence is. Great all around skill, adaptable to every situation and basicaly a counter to every class. Healer/summy out of bubble? silence Warrior annoying you? np, disarm. Hue.

Pretty much. I rarely use the knee shot myself. It sometimes does have its moments but disarm is just to effective. Usually I would take up to r2in most my builds, some builds I would take r3. But as of late I have been using R3 in everything, ranged, melee.

just make a right build for your playstyle and think a few steps ahead, choose right target and time for attack- move move and move )) stay behind in ranged , you even have rubies for it, don't stay close to target in melee too long, in my opinion scout's pvp is 50 % attack and 50 % moving =)
i was never thinking that i'm good scout, but even i'm feeling good in pvp with my always low gs =)
and btw it's every scout's dream to stay behind 2 good geared warriors, like ryan do, you can be like turret with incredible damage

I have been playing scout for the last 3 years, been through many nerfs and little buffs and even now I wouldnt trade it for any other class.With my puny 777 665 runes I need to be extra careful not to get stomped too fast in PvP,either be a lurking shadow sniping behind the heavy hitters ( cosy and usually safe!) or an angry tasmanian devil (quite suicidal) running around the battlefield stunning ,ccing,disarming, making it easier for your comrades .I rarely meet people with less or similar runes than mine.I die often a gruesome and fast death when I try to duel some people with 10s + but still gives me satisfaction to take down such people on various occasions.Disarming warriors for 7s ftw!

Never give up as long as you have at least one arrow!

Scout dps

sorry but my opinion seems diferent.
Scouts is weak? Yes it is.
Scouts is a damage dealer? Yes it is.
Scouts can kill in pvp? Yes we can like any other class can kill us.
Scout one of top damage dealers? Yes i can confirm that since in mostly pt i be the first in dps with sometimes undergeared versus other.
Scout is hard for play? Yes it is but also one of character that got most buttons.

That is my opinion
