Any substantial impact beyond the associated statistics?

I'm currently under the impression that this might not be a significant factor, but nearly every discussion I come across emphasizes mana management. I'd like to get some clarity on the matter. When it comes to the choice between Spear, Staff, Dagger, and Off-hand, does it have any substantial impact beyond the associated statistics?

Hey!

It doesn´t matter anymore what kind of weapon you´ll use. It´s more like a cosmetic choice now. For some classes it makes more sense to play with shield and onehand (Like Tanks for example) But again it doesn´t matter if you choose a sword, Staff, Spear etc. You can choose whatever you like most lookswise :thumbsup:
