Finding my way home

Hi there!

It has been a long time since I last played Allods Online. I don't even dare to say how long it's been!

The last time I played Allods, it was on a subscription server like this one, and now that there’s another one, I’m tempted to give the game another chance. I used to love it, but you know how it goes—life happens, and the daily routine pulls you in other directions. But good memories are still there.

I’d like to know if the P2P server is still active and what the population is like. I know how hard it can be sometimes to balance parties and raids for end‑game content on subscription servers, and how painful PvP becomes when one faction outnumbers the other two to one.

Last but not least, I’d appreciate any insights about the current class, race and role mechanics. I used to play a male Elven Paladin 99% of the time. I had to quit around the time the devs introduced the Paladin cannons into the mechanics—something I confess disappointed me quite a bit XD. What I can't forget is how hard and how long it took me to level up the Paladin. I wonder if it’s still among the slower classes (its AoE used to suck).
I’m open to playing other classes tho. May be Warrior or Summoner. Now I say this, I recall incarnations too Y_Y (one more variable to take into account).

Anyways, any insight about what's the game like these days is welcome.

Thx in advance!

Hello there Laiv!

I`m not playing on the P2P Server myself but when I read about it I usually hear like "There´s a handful playing on P2P" So I don´t think there´s too many people left and not sure how it looks with PvP or PvE then :S On F2P there are more people quite a lot of guilds who are doing Raids and Dominion.

Class-wise it depends what you´re looking for I`d say. You can change class easily nowadays even on P2P! Summoner, Priest and Warden can Heal (Mainly taken Summy and Priest), for Raids tanks mainly are Warrior and Demo I`d say don´t really see Pally tank. Support classes are Engi, Bard and Warden. Can´t really say much about Paladin since I´m not playing it sorry :/

Hope that helped already a little! If you have any other questions, don´t hesitate to ask!

Ah! I see. I was hoping to avoid getting into runes and P2W stuff.

Thanks Telisia!
