My greetings,

It might be a very technical question, perhaps entirely related to programmers, but I wanted to ask.

I want to catch the sixth Headhunter for my Maze. I'm lucky this season, I have 6 legendary slots. For 45 days now, I've been trying twice a day, but I still haven't caught it. My first attempt years ago also took time, but not this long.

"Success rate is about 1%. Sogot demonologists mention that it requires patience"

Rare demons are caught on every second, third, or at most fourth attempt. Epic demons, on the other hand, are caught on at most the 10th attempt. If you're lucky, much earlier. I think that 1% chance mentioned in the description only applies to Legendary ones.

My question is, is there a "pity timer" here? Something like a 1% increase in chance with each trial, or a maximum of XX trials to achieve? Or are we really looking for that one percent in every trial? Like "Ice fish"

I won't stop until I catch it, but I couldn't find any information about this, not even on the Ru forums. At least it will always remain as information for other players.

Sorry I absolutely don’t have a clue about that :wacko: I would say every time you’re trying it’s that 1% chance. Maybe someone else has some more infos about it tho!

Yes, honestly, I think so too. Allods is a mysterious game in terms of its gameplay mechanics. Many things are learned through experience. And there's never an end to the things to learn ^ ^

Oh wow! I´m trying sometimes to catch the Lord but tbh I`m like only trying once every week or even 2 weeks (Or even more :whistling: ) because I always forget :wacko: If I´ll remember I will try more often and see how it goes and keep you updated! :thumbsup:

Yes, I'm still trying just as frequently. As I said, although I don't remember exactly, it didn't take this long when I first caught it years ago. I think I caught it in week 5th.

All these attempts have cost me thousands of embriums. So I can't stop until I catch it. But I won't do that again. Buying it directly is probably the best option. I'm just writing this as advice for other players. There are players who say, "I caught the Lord on my first try," but don't fall for that :P

Ye I agree on the buying part! Didn´t try lately to catch the Lord because I´m not that active currently but also in the past I was mainly unlucky ;( Only thing I was usually lucky with were the Gills (But ofc they´re easier to catch)

I've been trying it for over 120 days, twice a day. The cost exceeded 3500 embriums, and that's annoying. I've given up now :(

A simple element within simple content shouldn't have this much stress. I already have 5 of them in my Maze, and that doesn't stop it from getting looted every week. Good luck to those who try it :P

Oof, over 120 days and 3500+ embriums... that's brutal. The Seal of the Hunter really seems to hate some people. I caught mine on the 8th try after weeks, but I know others who gave up after months. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, there doesn't seem to be any pity timer. It's pure RNG. Sometimes the game just decides to troll you.

Congratulations!

Complaining about bad luck is the fate of these games. I think I used my luck in other areas within the game ^^

I've learned the hard way that there's no such thing as a pity timer. But I think there might be other criteria as well. As I said, I already had 5x before. Perhaps this is a "stopping point I can not know.

Anyway, in the end I bought the 6th one with Embrium. But this year, unlike last season, I'm not using any strengthening so I haven't reached Nightmare level yet. Last season, I reached nightmare level in the very first few weeks and finished the season as nightmare #7. Of course, there were 17x buffs. So if there's no strengthen, even 100 HH won't be able to stop them ^^
