I feel at end-game 2+1 or 1+1 ship's crew can have enough gold for easy gear upgrade:

The business it look like this:

You can do daily quests, but is to low gold, the AH is empty, nothing to trade.
BG doesn't pop
So this is the steady income to gear upgrade.

If you are the 7th person or you want to take a slot from a fixed party with main + his alts, than you are very unwelcome

Practivcally, you can jump around like the white rats, but without gears, undergeared.

Nothing new on P2P! Players who try to help are literally driven away or talked down to there! I don't know which site you're playing on, but most people there have been playing for years and aren't really friendly to newcomers—though there are still a few exceptions; you just have to find them! If you tell me where you're playing—which site—I might be able to help you out a bit!
