Tka-rik Revelation Quest

I have a level 48 mage, and I am stuck at this quest mainly the last part of the quest where you have to survive the level 46 ringed demon attacks. Does anyone have any pointer on what I need to do to survive. After I kill the regular demon hounds, there come the blue ring and red ring demons. I don't try to fight them but run away. I've tried speed potions, health potions, the patronage spell that removes control effects, blink when available, run around in circles like an idiot. Eventually the demons catch up to me as I run out of options to keep myself away from them. My gear are current level crafted blues and a couple epics.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is this the part of quest where you had to do 3 trials (one was to kill a boss in a bubble other was to capture the servant in chains etc.)?
bcz the last trial there was just running and collecting the blue/orange spheres which give you new skills to use on the mobs.

Or are you doing regular reincarnation trials?
Bcz if you are talking about the 'demon hound' trial, then you have to kill them (there r 5 waves, 1st three r just 1,2,3 hounds, then comes hounds and 2 caterpillar-like monsters, and then mix of that and a flying one which is the strongest). If you can't kill them than probably somethings wrong with your stats. You should have as much as possible proficiency and vitality, and a bit of Determination & bloodlust.
Also use stone barrier/reflections on the mobs it will give you more resistance.

Thanks for the input.

Yes, I'm talking about the 3 trial quest that is given at level 46. The first part is to chain the boss 5 times, and kill the boss that has bubble on him. Then running around collecting blue and orange orbs while killing the mobs for 5 minutes. I can get past all of those fairly easily. It's what comes next that kills me every time. The caterpillar-like demons.

I was able to finish this quest on my psi a long time ago, and I don't think I'd even need to kill the caterpillars. I believe if I can survive long enough, an NPC appears to help kill them off. I'm not sure if this is still true.

Just need to survive, a little dragon will appear in the center, he will save you. I don't think they have changed it (unsure can't remeber full details of TKR cave changes past patches) i remember doing it under geared, all i did was apply tactics you mentioned but kited around the edges first then moved to the center, rotating/ timing your walls/reflect help a lot.

I'd like to know as well. That and Creeping Doom always gives me a bit of trouble (Before I learned I actually had Thoughtful Spirit).
That and sometimes Trial of Time if I get unlucky and get swarmed with no orbs nearby.

You get a skill that is basically a shield that regens your life also.
Just stand in the middle and when mobs are almost on top of you pop it and Nihaz will kill them all.
You dont even have to hit them.
This is based on previous versions but i never read anywhere that quest had changed.

You do have to kill the mobs up to the point where you have a crap load of them coming at you. Between each of these you will have time to heal up and refresh your barriers. When you get the crap load of them coming at you, you will receive help on killing those.

For Creeping Doom, you have to kill a couple of mobs so you can get out of the middle of all of them. Then just kite them till they all are dead. They are pretty easy to kill.
