Yes, in most cases rep gear is worth taking. It speeds up and makes your leveling progress easier.

Repetables are meant to get you reputation, not exp to lvl. Once you get rep. gear you'll be able to buy gear that will help you lvl faster.
For glory.

Thanks for the reply, Of course I did all of the reps before but would I be able to survive without them? Do they really make an impact?

I personally suggest just going for rep greens until 60, replacing as needed. Then you want to max out your Outlaw rep for blues.

i STRONGLY rcommend to do NOT waste time and gold with rep gear

the only exclaimation is maybe coba plateau, where you have to grind for 3 levels, there prospector rep gear might be useful

i have leveled 9 chars to max level so i know

Not worth it. At 35 you can buy a full set of green gear that have item level of 37+, rep is required only to buy it not to open the box which is not bound, so you can just ask someone with the rep to buy and trade it to you.

Ofcourse if you have obsessive compulsive disorder (like me), you'll still want to finish all the reps after you hit the cap. For completeness sake.

The time spent on getting rep could be used to do some goblinball to gain gold and lvl up a gear profession.
Blacksmith, leatherworking or tailoring depending on class off course.Always better gear then rep.
