Allods Team is glad to announce that the new update 5.0.01, called "Colors of War", has been installed in Russia! And we’re already working on its localization for our dear European and North American players. Let us give you some details regarding the changes made in 5.0.01.
The Kingdom of Elements used to be one of the most popular zones in the game, with its great opportunity to earn gold and face the opposite faction characters. In the update 5.0.01 you will see the redesigned Kingdom of Elements. It offers a variety of activities both for those who prefer a hasteless gameplay and for those who love the fight.
Raid Dominion have been modified before, but this time the changes are deepest. Skirmishes at Misty Glade used to be quick, and the main action took place in the central area of the zone. Now it's all different. Gun mounts now take the stage, and positions of the attacking and defending parties differ strategically.
"Colors of War" also gives you a brand new capture-the-flag PvP activity called "Training Camp". Its aim is to capture the golem of the opposing group and escort it to your base. Training Camp makes a nice addition to the old battlegrounds, such as Deserted Farm and Witch's Hollow. Besides, it rewards its participants with Battleground Emblems!
PvE players will find interesting a rebuilt Tka-Rik's cave. We changed a lot of the encounters, connected with this zone. The location is now more spectacular and challenging, and Servant of Nihaz now offers different rewards.
Warden class, with its Rubies and skills, has also been redesigned. Now Healers, Druids and Shaman may play a role of quite an effective healer in a group! Besides, we met your request, and brought back into the game your favorite allods, and added a brand new one, Dersaadet isle.

I couldnt understand much with google translate.
"Теперь вместо 1 единицы можно приобрести 12 единиц кристаллической крошки по той же цене. При этом для объединения рун потребуется в 12 раз больше крошки. Имеющаяся в наличии крошка будет конвертирована."

Pretty much they decreased the value of 1 crystal chip and made 12 of them worth the one pre-patch, and kinda changed the amount of cc you need for rune upgrades accordingly. Also they made your current crystal chips to be 12 times more (if you had 10 you will have 120 after patch)

Now you can purchase 12 crystal chips for the price of 1, but it requires 12 times as many crystal chips for combining runes. All the crystal chips already owned by people will be accordingly converted.
maybe aesthetic marketing to inflate the item's in game value, and importance to the real world cost to manufacture. If it appear's cheap, people will think it's a cheap investment. The cost to create rune's do not change at all, only the appearance of it.
So whats the sense of giving us 12 cc for 1 if it costs 12x more?it gives the same so it makes no sense
Because it will also cost 12 time more gold dust to upgrade runes, so 12 time more gold which will make the cost of upgrading rune just prohibitive. Brilliant.... really brilliant!
This, + absolutely no work on scouts (and psy) in a update which is expected to be more pvp oriented (at least we didn't get additional nerfs as usual), it seems they really have pleasure at disappointing people.

You can't know that just yet. What if they make gold dust cheaper?
