[PMB] Paladin - Diktator

"Hello people! I'm Diktaator, level 60 Orc Reaver from guild called Madness."

Paladins are made for tanking, but with proper build they are also awesome dps.
My role is usually tank and I'm gonna talk more about it.


In the new patch "Heart of the World" Paladin received nerf on spells Anathema/Interdiction.
Since our main job is to "receive damage" and not to deal damage you won't really notice that.
This is pve build but it's useful in pvp too!


-STATS-

Since the new patch we all have new stats...It will take some time for all of us to figure them out for each class.

All stats from gear come in pairs ( Determinaton/Tenacity , Proficiency/Vitality , Brutality/Bloodlust , Willpower/Anger).


Stats that you should focus on holy tank :

Determination : Works simple , More damage u receive , more damage/healing you deal.

Proficiency/Vitality : If you are tank that doesn't mean that you don't need to do some damage. / Simple stat that increase your health.

Brutality/Bloodlust : You deal more damage to enemies whose health is lower.(More health your target loses , more damage you deal) / Heals you for X % of damage you deal.




When you are gearing up with holy tank try to balance all stats, don't forget about stats that I didn't mention.Save some space for them too.But mostly your top stats should go from Determination to Brutality/Bloodlust. ( Most points on Determinaton/Tenacity, then Proficiency/Vitality , Brutality/Bloodlust last )


-BUILD-


I don't have all talents and rubies so if you have more you can take purifier rubies and Binding curse/Shining sword talents r2.

Remmember holy tank ALWAYS use 1h weapon and shield.

This is my current build.

There is no need to explain every ruby since you can see what each ruby does on link above or INGAME.

  • “Divine Purpose” now increases Brutality by 3/6/9%.
  • “Combat Inspiration”, instead of the old effect, allows the Paladin
    to parry attacks by one handed weapons with a chance of 5/10/15%.
  • “Monk’s Reflexes” increase Tenacity by 5/10/15%.
  • “Purifier” increases critical strike chance by 5/10%.
  • “Zealot’s Fury” increases Determination by 3/6/9%.
  • “Will of the Hermit” increases Willpower by 4/8/12%.
  • “Disciple’s Power” increases Proficiency by 3/6/9%.
You can see changes for every class on that site.


-Holy tank rotations-

Always keep Condemnation and Righterous word on target/s.

Since Anathema/Interdiction spells deal x2 less damage in new patch, our Righerous word deals more damage.

-Reincarnations-

If you want to make reincarnation I would recommend Healer since it has "Holy shield" which absorbs some damage and dispels most control effects.
Wardens "Natural balance" can be useful too - Evenly distributes health of all party members.
Summoners "Fear" is useful if you are more PvP oriented.

Well , if you say that this guide is orientated for PVE , I would say tenacy is more important than blood lust. You don't really need 5-10% health absorbation from your enemy when you have 3/4 full healers in your raid. I rather get really slow wound complexity in a long boss fight to make it easier to heal me.

This are my stats :
PROFICIENCY > (=) DETERMINATION > BRUTALITY > ANGER

VITALITY > TENACITY > BLOOD LUST = WILL POWER

Determination comes in pair with tenacity...so you gonna get enough of it :)

Certain Victory ONLY works for damage not for holy damage.
