Help for the "The Battle for the mine" and "A Torn Letter" quests in Coldberg

I cannot get into the mine, nor sneaking nor fighting. I triedi using the three trinkets (Demon Hunters' Potion, Essence of the Holy Land, Zem Medallion) on one guardian skeleton at a time, or the three on one skeleton, but I either get aggroed by the resting ones, or get one- or two-shotted by the one I'm engaging. Besides, I cannot really understand what they do, and if they have any effect (well, one clearly immobilizes the target). I'm a Scout, and still can't sneak past while camouflaged, because the skeletons see right through my disguise.

The funniest thing is that the first time that I got into the mines to meet the NPC of the main quest, I carelessly run into it on automove, and nobody aggroed me. I cannot understand what happened.
So far I've spent more than an hour dying again and again. Any suggestions?

If they haven't chaned it with the last patch you should be able to use one item per enemy and get past them. If you are on max distant the other ons should not aggro. However be prepared that the one you immobilize will hit you while entering the mine. If that doesn't work for you try to grab someone else and stun/weaken them all. Just be prepared to die once you want to leave the mine.

I did it once by standing on top of the mine and aggroing all 3. Wait until they're in spitting distance then jump down and run as far through the mine as possible to make them reset. They run the long way back so it is possible. You have to avoid aggroing the little skeletons inside who will slow you.

I'd give that 2 tries and then go yell in Nezeb/Novo until someone comes and kills the elites for you.

last time I did that I used only 2.. first is kill on the side.. just hit him and use the weaken item then kill it.. then next turn is the middle mob.. hit that and run a bit then use the instant kill item.. then u don't need to kill the 3rd one. . just go to the tunnel just make sure to enter on the side where there are 2 vacant mobs.. you wont end up picking the agro on the 3rd mob.

I am not sure if they fixed it or not but I got in without killing them a long time ago by climbing on top and very carefully walking off the edge and then into the mine. Back then their agro range was farther in front than it was behind so you could just drop into the hole.

That was back when the skeletons deep in the mine were ring mobs and you needed a partner to kill them though. A lot has changed and it might not work anymore.

I did this on a reinc yesterday and it was easier then before. Poison the center guard, weaken the left guard and then kill it. Immobilize the right guard and just go in.

you can also sneak in:

get on top of the entrance on mount, just do one step so you fall down BEHIND the guards, and QUICKLY run into the cave, it works most times

dont need the items that way
